Цель: создание условий для формирования навыков запоминания новой лексики, говорения и аудирования.

Задачи:

Практические:

1. Расширить объём ЛЕ по теме «Деньги» на основе текста.

2.Расширить объём лексики за счёт глаголов, обозначающих действия (to earn, to waste, to pay in cash, to pay by credit card; познакомиться с идиомами по теме- to make ends meet, to bring home the bacon)

Образовательные:

Совершенствовать навыки аудирования (извлекать необходимую информацию)

Совершенствовать навыки поискового и изучающего чтения.

Совершенствовать монологическую речь в связи с прочитанным.

Развивать умение рассказывать о событиях и выражать к ним своё отношение в письменной форме.

Развивающие:

1.Совершенствовать компенсаторные умения (прогнозировать содержание текста, пользоваться языковой и контекстуальной догадкой при аудировании и чтении; игнорировать лексические трудности, использовать словарные замены в процессе общения).

2. Совершенствовать умения получать сведения из иноязычных словарей.

Воспитательная: способствовать формированию у обучающихся культурной непредвзятости, толерантности и социокультурной наблюдательности.

Межпредметные и внутрипредметные связи: интегрируется с обществознанием; расширение изучения новой лексики на базе уже усвоенной, закрепление навыков аудирования и говорения.

ΙV.Развитие навыков чтения.

There are many ways for people to get money and even more ways to spend it. But how to save money? Read the texts in your worksheets to find it out. Then you should report your results to other students. Be ready to answer the questions after the text. Before you start reading the text, look at the new words and try to remember their meaning.

Are you bad with finances? Do you live from pay check to pay check? Would you like to figure out how to save a little money from time to time?

Here are a few tips.

1. Give yourself a budget for each week and stick to it. If you get to the end of the week with nothing left, take a bus instead of a cab, make your own dinner instead of eating out, invite your friends over for a tea party instead of going to the cafe, and pass on the frivolous shopping spree until you have more money.

2. Stop using credit cards. Pay for everything with cash. It's easier to overspend when you're using a bank or credit card because you don't know exactly how much you have. If you have cash, you can see your supply running low.

3. Keep a record of your spending. Write down everything you spend your money on for a couple weeks or a month. Be as detailed as possible, and try not to leave out small purchases. Assign each purchase or expenditure a category such as: Rent, Car insurance, Car payments, Phone Bill, Cable Bill, Utilities, Gas, Food, Entertainment, etc.

Thank you for your work. Well, I see this topic is really interesting for you. Work in groups of three and explain the following statements:

VII. Рефлексия

1) My friends, you have done a great work today. To draw a conclusion I’d like you to think about this problem and put down your opinion or feelings in the form of a  cinquain. The theme is money, of course. Work in groups. (правила синквейна на слайде)

Правила написания синквейна:

1.     Первая строка - одним словом обозначается тема (имя существительное).

2.     Вторая строка - описание темы двумя словами (имена прилагательные).

3.     Третья строка - описание действия в рамках этой темы тремя словами (глаголы, причастия).

4.     Четвертая строка - фраза из четырех слов, выражающая отношение к теме (разные части речи).

5.     Пятая строка - это синоним из одного слова, который повторяет суть темы.
