Annotation: This paper outlines the issues of improving the system of military education and training of military specialists.

Improving the system of military education and training of military specialists is one of the most important tasks to ensure the reliable recruitment of troops with qualified officers, the systematic increase in the level of their professionalism, the formation of high moral and ethical qualities of a citizen and defender of their Motherland among university graduates .

Shortcomings in the training of officers inevitably entail difficulties in the training of privates and sergeants, which determine success in the conduct of hostilities. This problem can be solved by raising the professional level and the status of the management and teaching staff of military educational institutions.

There is an acute issue with the field and laboratory facilities of universities, which should provide the necessary level of officer training.

In recent years, significant funds have been allocated from the budget for the development of this base.

Cadets began to acquire basic practical skills not only on simulators, but also on new models of weapons and military equipment, which ensures the formation of the personnel potential of the Uzbek army by competent military specialists.

It is important that higher education institutions produce a professional officer with a high level of methodological, drill and physical training, who is proficient in various techniques and methods of training subordinates.

Suggestions for improving the system of military education and training of military specialists:

  • training of officers in military educational institutions should be carried out taking into account modern requirements for conducting combat operations in hot spots of the world;

  • training programs for each discipline must be developed strictly according to the stages of training;

  • teachers must strictly observe the established procedure for preparing and conducting each lesson with cadets, and put in the learning process, simple and understandable to all forms, principles and techniques;

  • a military specialist must be trained to effectively manage subordinates, and teachers must pass on life experience and their educational level;

  • universities need to create conditions for the full satisfaction of the needs for officers, take care of each cadet and bring him to graduation; improving the quality of military education due to the high motivation of cadets in the study of the disciplines taught;

  • the effectiveness of the military education system largely depends on the quality and timeliness of the material and financial support of the educational process;

  • active introduction of the latest teaching technologies into the improvement of military education;

  • the system of military education must combine teaching and educational functions;

  • the training of a future officer should be armed with knowledge in the military field, as well as to form and educate a military specialist with a high . n atriotic, moral-psychological, moral, spiritual and physical qualities;

  • for an innovative breakthrough in the field of military education, first of all, it is necessary to prepare a competent teaching and research staff of the university;

  • to improve the training of officers in new specialties, on the basis of existing universities;

  • develop new qualification requirements for military professional and special training of graduates, taking into account the changing situation in the world;

  • implement effective educational programs, systematically analyze how graduates serve in the army, what knowledge and skills acquired at the school are applied in practice, and what needs to be changed in training;

  • graduates should study not only existing models of weapons and equipment, but also those that will come in the future;

  • qualitatively plan the participation of cadets in military training to gain military experience;

  • conducting training sessions using computer modeling and electronic textbooks;

  • increase the responsibility of universities for the quality of training of military specialists, their ability to start performing duties in the troops as competent officers;

  • to carry out high-quality selection of applicants with high motivation for military service;

  • to develop ways to activate the mental activity of cadets in traditional forms of educational activity;

  • apply innovative teaching technologies for cycles of academic disciplines;

  • actively apply scientific and cognitive models and teaching technologies;

  • manage the quality of the educational process;

  • to form the competencies of self-education of cadets:

  • apply modern approaches to organizing independent work of cadets;

  • use interactive teaching methods in universities as a means of forming key competencies, knowledge, skills and abilities;

  • to form cognitive independence in the process of studying disciplines:

  • orientation of the educational process to the potential capabilities of the cadet and their implementation, to promote the arming of cadets with solid knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as the ability to transfer them to new situations;

  • to form the need for new knowledge among cadets;

  • to direct training in connection with life, the experience of cadets, to form the necessary competencies;

  • to orient the thinking of cadets to the solution of general and particular problems with the aim of creative processing of educational information;

  • ensure the activity of cadets in correlating private information with basic ideas, laws, theories to form a system of knowledge, methods of activity and competencies;

  • to promote the mastery of educational skills as a tool of knowledge; create optimal conditions for the active mental activity of each cadet.

An analysis of various points of view of respondents on the problem of management and quality of military professional education made it possible to formulate a number of initial postulates:

  • it is advisable to seek a solution to the problem of managing the quality of military professional education of officer cadres on the basis of an interdisciplinary approach, using well-known interactive indicators that evaluate the quality of professional education from different angles, approaches and in various aspects;

  • quality itself, as well as its management , should be considered not in general, but only taking into account the conditions of military professional education in a specific military university.

In the existing theory and practice of training military specialists, the following main shortcomings can be identified:

  • the absence in the officer training system of military universities of integral scientifically based concepts and technologies for managing the quality of personnel training;

  • low efficiency in the implementation of the scientific, pedagogical, creative potential of all subjects of the officer training system, personnel, and, above all, those performing managerial and supervisory functions;

  • lack of modern scientific and pedagogical foundations for the implementation in the practical training of officer personnel of the provisions of the competency -based approach and quality management in accordance with modern requirements and tasks of ensuring the security of the individual, society, and the state.
