Урок 1 Вводный урок
Задачи:
-обучающие: обзорное повторение лексики и грамматики с выполнением тестовых заданий:
-развивающие: развивать все виды речевой деятельности: развивать учебно-познавательную компетенцию:
Воспитательные: развивать нравственные ценности и ориентиры.
Оборудование: тематические картинки, грамматические таблицы, карточки с тестовыми заданиями.
Ход урока
- Приветствие.
- Постановка целей урока. Мотивирование на урок.
- Введение в модуль. Вводная беседа.
–беседа о летних каникулах на основе тематических картинках;
-ознакомить со структурой учебника;
-повторение лексики и грамматики с последующим выполнением теста (5-7 минут)
4. Введение темы модуля.
-обсуждение значения заголовка.
Предполагаемый ответ: The title refers to different kinds of relationships-members of family, friends &neighbours; what makes families different and what makes it the same.
-работа над рисунками 1-4 стр.9 Просматривая модуль учащиеся находят указанные изображения и дают краткие пояснения.
Рис.1 стр.10. Предполагаемый ответ: What can you see in the pic.1? S.1 I can see a family.T. How big is the family? S.2 The family is big. It has a father, a mother etc.
Рис 2 стр.23 Т. What does this picture mean? S.3 It means that people should plant trees and flowers along roadsides because they make our communities more welcoming places to live.
Pic.3 p.24. T.What can you see in this picture? S.4 Ican see NEW Yourk.

Pic 3 (p. 24) What can you see in the picture? Which city do you think it is? What are the advantages/disadvantages of living in a big city? Which big cities have you visited?
Pic 4 (p. 25) Who is this a picture of? What is she famous for?
Find the page number(s) for Allow Ss time to browse through the units and find the relevant information. Then ask them to explain what each one is, and elicit simple information about each item.
Suggested Answer Key a letter (p. 14) (a long note to a friend) Who is this letter from? What is the letter about? Who is it written for?
an extract from a tale (p. 16) (a tale is a story, often about magic or exciting events) What is the title of the tale? What do you think it will be about? Who wrote it? When was it written?
a pie chart (p. 21) (a pie chart is a graph in the form of a circle in which relative quantities are shown by the different sizes of the sectors) What do the pie charts show? What do they tell us about Britain?
Ask Ss to look at the relevant pages and elicit what each section is about.
Suggested Answer Key The Literature section seems to be about authors, books and literature extracts. This one (pp. 16-17) is about Oscar Wilde and an extract from one of his tales “The Devoted Friend”.
The Culture Corner (p. 21) contains an article about multicultural Britain.
The Across the Curriculum section (p. 22) looks at how different families lived during Victorian times.
The Going Green section looks at different green issues. This particular one (p. 23) is about how we can make our neighbourhood cleaner and greener.
