Урок

Подтема: Летний отдых.

Цель: Развивать навыки диалогической речи по теме, используя глагол to be в прошедшем времени. Расширять представление учеников о стране, язык которой изучается. Развивать навыки чтения. Воспитывать интерес к жизни людей в других странах.

Оборудование: Учебник О.Д. Карп’юк 4 класс, мяч, тетрадь, W.B.

Ход урока

 

I. Организационный момент

1. Greeting

T: Good morning! I’m glad to see you. How are you today? (Мяч) Who’s absent today? What day is it today? Look outside! It’s a wonderful day today! Let’s learn a song about it.

T: Today we’ll speak about summer holidays. You’ll find out about a popular tourist destination – Brighton – and learn to tell about the past events.

T: Well, Vicky was in Brighton. It’s a town in Britain which is near the sea. Many Englishmen like coming there for their holidays because they believe that Brighton’s air is very good for health. Are there any places in our country where people go to on holiday?

1)      T: In the dialogue Vicky says: “I was in Brighton”, “My mother and I were in a small hotel”. В какой форме мы используем глагол to be, когда говорим о прошлом? Мы используем глагол to be в форме was, were.

Now look at the dialogue again and find the sentences describing past events.

T: Look at the sentences of exercise 3 on page 101 and tell when we use was and when – were.
