The text

From my point of view, hobby plays an important role in a person`s life. Now I would like to set some examples to prove this statement.

Firstly, it helps get out of depression and raise our spirits. For instance, you have been frustrated. But if you have a favourite occupation, while passing the time you are getting involved in the process and gradually forgeting about the previous failure. As it is known, this is an exellent way of entertainment after an unsuccessful experience, as your attention is fully concentrated on the thing you are doing.

Secondly, a hobby can also help choose a career path for the future. For example, when doing sport you understand that you can not live without it and this is your natural rate. Such people usually become professional sportsmen, trainers.

Apart from that, it refers to other spheres of activity. To conclude, hobby is not only a way of calming down and relaxing, but also it can be a useful experiment for your future job.

My favourite sports are tennis and swimming. I like dancing, too. I began going in for sports when I was eight years old. It was swimming. I went to the swimming pool with all my family.
Now my hobby is lawn tennis. I like to play tennis very much. I play tennis two times a week: on Wednesday and Friday.
I think I am good at tennis, but I want to play it better. I hope in future I will be a good tennis-player.

Many people have hobbies. They make our life more interesting. A hobby is what people like to do when they have free time. Everyone chooses a hobby according to his character and taste. Some people are fond of music, others like to read books. Some people like to collect stamps, coins or badges, others prefer gardening or hiking or taking photographs.
My hobby is playing computer games. Both grown-ups and children are fond of it now. It has become one of the most popular hobbies nowadays. I think that playing with a computer is very interesting. It is not only "wasting time" as some people say.
Computer games make us to think things over properly, they widen and develop our mind and imagination. I have a good collection of different games.
