Конспект урока английского языка 9 класс

Тема: «Видовременные формы английского глагола».

Цели урока: Обобщить знания грамматики по теме; активизировать лексику; закрепить знания.

Задачи урока: Повторить грамматику по теме “Времена глагола”, активизировать лексические знания по теме “Летние каникулы” в изученных речевых образцах, закрепить произносительные навыки.

Оборудование: Демонстрационный материал по теме “Видовременные формы глагола”

Ход урока

I. Организационный момент

- Good morning! (Good morning!)

- I’m glad to see you! (We are glad to see you too!)

- Today we will talk about your holidays and remember some grammatical structures.

I. Фонетическая зарядка

Look at the board. There are two columns of words. Let’s read them together. Who wants to read the first column? The second column?

Let’s talk about your holidays. Answer my questions, please.

- Did you go to the discos on holidays? – Yes, I did. I went to the discos on my holidays.

- Did you read for pleasure on my holidays? – Yes, I did. I read for pleasure on my holidays.

- Did you make any new friends on my holidays?- Yes, I did. I made some new friends on my holidays.

- Did you do sports on my holidays? – Yes, I did. I did sports on my holidays.

- Did you watch videos on my holidays? - Yes, I did. I watched videos on my holidays.

IV. Активизация грамматических навыков в устной форме

It’s time to remember some grammatical structures. Today we shell talk about Verb Tenses. What verb tenses do you know? (Cлайд 1) Look at the board (Слайд 2). What verb tense is it. Yes, it’s Present Simple. Let’s fill in the gaps with the right form of the verb. Don’t forget about the rule. It is on the board.

2) She doesn’t write emails. (not / to write)

3) Do you speak English? (to speak)

4) My mother doesn’t like fish. (not / to like)

5) Does Ann have any friends? (to have)

6) His brother works in an office. (to work)

7) Do they water the flowers every 3 days? (to water)

8) His wife doesn’t ride a motorbike. (not / to ride)

9) _Does Kate drink coffee? (to drink)

Past Simple Tense:(Слайд 3)

1) She (bring)brought some chocolates to the party.

2) I (hear) heard a new song on the radio.

3) I (read) read three books last week.

4) They (speak) spoke French to the waitress.

5) I (forget) forgot about my mother’s birthday.

6) Did you (lose) lose your keys?

7) I (give) gave my mother a CD for Christmas.

8) At the age of 23, she (become) became a doctor.

9) I (know) knew the answer yesterday.

Present Continuous: (Слайд 4)

1. In summer the sun (to shine).is shining brightly.

2. Run downstairs. Your sister (to wait for) is waiting for you.

3. I usually (to wait for)waits forTom. He is always late.

4. We (to have) have coffee every morning.

5. Where is John? - He (to play)is playing the piano.

6. Our boys usually (to play)play football in the yard.

7. Call them. They (to play)are playing football in the yard.

8. My aunt (not to make)_doesn’t make cakes on Mondays, but she (to make) is making one now.

9. She is in the kitchen. She (to make)_is making tea for us.

Past Continuous: (Слайд 5)

1. I fed(to feed) my cat with fish yesterday.

2. What were you_doing (to do) at four o'clock yesterday? — I was feeding(to feed) my cat.

3. What was_your brother_doing (to do) yesterday? -He was playing_(to play) computer games.

4. We_were plaing (to play) badminton from nine till eleven yesterday.

5. Kate_didn’t go_ (not to go) for a walk yesterday. She was writing _(to write) a composition the whole day yesterday.

Present Perfect / Past Perfect: (Слайд 6)

1. When Billy comes (to come) home, his wife has already cooked (to cook) lunch

2. Kevin _showed(to show) his mother the composition which he had written(to write) yesterday.

3. Jessica_has returned (to return) from the theatre by 9 o’clock.

4. Yesterday I found (to find) the ring that I had lost(to lose) last week.

5. When Billy woke up_(to wake up) yesterday his parents had already_gone (to go) to work.

Future Simple: (Слайд 7)

1. I and my friends will go skiing (to go skiing) next Sunday.

2. Will_you go (to go) to the cinema next weekend?

3. Her mother_won’t cook (not to cook) in the evening.

4. They _will come_(to come) home at ten pm tomorrow.

5. His sister will draw (to draw) a picture next week.

6. When will you come_(to come) home?

7. Their friends will invite (to invite) us to spend Christmas holidays in their house?

8. I _will send_(to send) email to my friend tomorrow.

9. Tomorrow I_will meet (to meet) my partner at the airport.

V. Развитие грамматических навыков в устной форме

I will read the sentences in Russian and you will choose the right verb tense to translate them into English.

  • Я разговариваю по телефону и не могу тебе помочь. (Present Continuous)

  • Мы всегда отмечаем день рождения членов нашей семьи. (Present Simple)

  • На прошлой неделе ученики участвовали в субботнике. (Past Simple)

  • Мы еще не высадили цветы на клумбу. Ты не должен их поливать. (Present Perfect)

  • Пока ты делал домашнюю работу, я прибирался в комнате (Past Continuous)

  • Твои родственники перевезут вещи на новую квартиру на следующей неделе. (Future Simple)

  • Участники митинга обсудили важные вопросы к 6 часaм вечера два дня тому назад. (Past Perfect)

VII. Тренировка грамматических навыков в письменных упражнениях

Exercise 15 page 15 is to be written. You will read the story to yourself, then put the numbers from 1 to 12 and write the correct forms of the verbs. You can see the examples of different sentences in your textbook, page 12 “Grammar focus”. Then we will read the exercise one by one with the correct form of the verb.
