Конспект урока "Англоговорящие страны. Участники международного конкурса подростков" в 7 классе

Открытый урок по английскому языку в 7 классе (УМК «Enjoy English», автор М.З. Биболетова, Н.Н. Трубанева).

Урок построен с использованием технологии развивающего обучения и обучения в сотрудничестве с использованием информационных технологий.

Тема: «Англоговорящие страны. Участники международного конкурса подростков».

Цели:

Обучающие:

• Формирование умения воспринимать иноязычную речь на слух с извлечением необходимой информации.

• Совершенствование лексических навыков.

• Формирование умений поискового чтения.

Развивающие:

• Развитие познавательной активности учащихся.

• Развитие навыков работы в группе, в сотрудничестве.

• Совершенствование навыков исследовательских методов работы на уроке.

Воспитывающие:

• Развитие чувства ответственности за совместную работу.

• Прививать навыки работы в коллективе.

Вид урока. Комбинированный урок.

Форма урока. Урок с использованием развивающих технологий и технологии обучения в сотрудничестве.

Формы организации познавательной деятельности учащихся на уроке: Групповая, парная, фронтальная.

Оборудование.

• Компьютер, аудиозапись на СD МР3.

• Раздаточный материал с вопросами для каждой группы.

• Политическая карта мира с обозначением англоговорящих стран.

• Флаги англоговорящих стран.

• Таблицы с пропущенными графами с названиями стран для каждой группы.

• Таблички-смайлики для оценивания учащимися урока.

Ход урока

1. Организационный момент. Приветствие.

Good morning, children. Nice to see you! How are you? 
(We are fine. Thank you. And how are you?).
I’m fine too. Thank you. Every human speak every morning, every day it’s one language. What language are we speaking? (English).

2. Определение темы урока.

We shall see some video (просмотр видео роликов об англоговорящих cтранах).but you must see very attentively and say:

• What language do people speak in the country?

• What are the full names of these countries?

• What is the main sightseeing there?

Children, look at the blackboard, please. You see the maps of New Zealand, Canada, Australia, the UK, the USA and the flags of these countries. And what language do people speak in these countries?

You are quite right. They speak English. What is the theme of our lesson today? ( You are right the theme is “ENGLISH – SPEAKING COUNTRIES”.)

3. Постановка цели урока.

So, today you will learn about the geographical situation of these countries, their capitals, population, official languages, some symbols and some interesting facts. But before tell me what language is spoken in many countries? And in our lesson today? Before you answer let’s do the puzzle. (за каждый верный жетон дети получают жетоны). Say what is the English for?...(север, Англия, остров, официальный. Австралия, Вашингтон,).

4. Активизация изученного материала по теме «Англоговорящие страны».

Работа в группах.

We have been learning English for 6 years. I’m sure you know some facts about English-speaking countries. You can use the map. Now let’s divide into three groups and try to answer these questions:

1. What English-speaking countries do you know?

2. What are their capitals?

3. What is the official language of Great Britain?

4. What is the official language of the USA?

5. What is the second largest country in the world?

6. The maple leaf is the official emblem of …. .

7. What is one of the most powerful countries in the world?

8. What country consists of two islands?

9. What is the official language of Australia?

10. Which country has the third largest population in the world?

11. What is the world’s seventh biggest city?

12. What is the official language of Canada?

13. What are the official languages of New Zealand?

14. What is the second important language in the USA?

15. What is a small and quiet country in the Pacific Ocean?

(После обсуждения в группах учащиеся озвучивают свои варианты. За каждый верный вариант ребята получают жетон).

5. Физкультминутка.

Close your eyes – and you are there.

6. Активизация навыков аудирования. Заполнение таблицы на соотнесение стран, столиц, национальностей и языков. Парная работа. Взаимоконтроль

Now you will listen to the tape and fill in the gaps in the table. Приложение 1 ( прослушивание записи упр.32 стр.42, заполнить таблицу и обменяться листами с ответами друг с другом для проверки). За каждый верный вариант ребята получают жетон.
Who has no mistakes? Well done.

7. Закрепление изученной страноведческой информации.

It’s time to find out what you know about English-speaking countries. Read the statements and agree or disagree with them. If the statement is false, correct it, please. (За каждый верный вариант ребята получают жетон).

1. American English and British English are absolutely the same.

2. There are lots of people in the United States who can speak Spanish.

3. Canada is famous for its deserts

4. There are two official languages in Canada – English and Spanish.

5. New Zealand consists of two main islands and some small islands.

6. The official languages in New Zealand are English and French.

9. Australia occupies the whole continent.

11. There are two official languages in New Zealand – English and Maori.

12. The capital of Australia is Sydney.

13. The capital of the UK is London.

14. A small and quiet country in the Pacific Ocean is New Zealand.

15. In Canada there are people of many nationalities.

8. Подведение итогов урока. Выставление отметок.

What have you learned about English-speaking countries today?

9. Объяснение домашнего задания.

Children, you will continue working on the theme at home. Write down your homework. Prepare the story about one of the English-speaking countries.
