Открытый урок «WHAT IS SCHOOL?»

Цели и задачи урока:
Развивающие: развитие способности к осмысленности восприятия и к распределению внимания, к слуховой дифференциации, к логическому изложению содержания высказывания, к формулированию выводов из прочитанного и услышанного, развивать способности к коммуникабельности как явному или неявному выражению своего отношения к проблеме, развивать способности к вербализации, т.е. словесному выражению услышанного.
Учебные: формирование и развитие навыков и умений всех видов речевой деятельности: умение работать с новой лексикой, аудировать видеотекст с извлечением основной информации, обсуждать проблемы по данной теме в монологических высказываниях.
ХОД УРОКА.
Teacher: Hello, glad to meet you. Let”s begin our lesson. If you want to know the topic of our lesson read this riddle:

Teacher: So today we are going to discuss the topic “School Life”. You will tell us everything you know, you have learnt. By the end of this lesson we will have found the answer to the question ‘What is school?’
You remember your first day at school, don’t you?
You came to school at the age of 5, didn’t you ?
You looked nice , didn’t you ?
The weather was nice , wasn’t it?
You did not have your school bags , did you ?
There were many pupils , weren’t there?
You were afraid to go to school ,weren’t you?
To sum everything up, we are going to listen to Daniil’s story about his first day at school.
What cannot we imagine ‘School’ without classrooms, gyms, canteens, laboratories. The task is the following: come here, choose any word you like and try to find its definition.

a place where pupils go to eat during the break
a quiet place to read or take a book
a place where you have most of your lessons
a special room where you can do experiments
