My favourite films

I like to watch different kinds of films such as comedies, adventure films, actions, romantic dramas, detective and historical films.

Laughter is the best medicine! In our stressful and busy lives we hardly get a chance to laugh! Comedies help us to relax and forget different problems! My favourite comedies are «Striped Voyage», «Marrige in Malinovka», «Home Alone», «Doctor Dolittle» and «Cheaper Dozen». I can watch them many times.

I like adventure films. They may be historical and pirate films, about treasures and relics hunters. They may include adapted stories of historical or fictional adventure heroes within the historical context. My favourite films are «Relic Hunter», «Indiana Jones», «Merlin», «The Scorpion King» and «The Librarian».

And of course I like detective films. They focus on the unsolved crime and on the central character - the clever detective. The plot often centers on the deductive ability, confidence, or diligence of the detective. My favourite films are «Poirot», «Miss Marple», «Sherloc Holmes and Doctor Watson», «Curious Varvara» and «Amazons».

I love action films. They are very dynamic and really exciting. They grab my attention from the first scene. They teach people to defend justice and to be strong and brave. My favourite action films are «Scorpion», «Sword», «Die Hard», «Leon» and «I am Bodyguard».

And I like watching cartoons too. I advice everybody to watch cartoons because it's really interesting! My favourite cartoons are «Flying Ship», «The Wizard of Oz», «The Brave», «The Cat Leopold» and «Golden Antelope».

From romantic dramas I prefer «Groundhog Day», «Titanic», «Marriage as a Last Will», «Maid in Manhattan» and «Kate and Leopold». Dramas sometimes make people laugh and sometimes also make them drop their tear. Some dramas end up with happy endings, while the other some end up with tragic endings.

To my mind movies extend our knowledge about people and about the world we live. They give me new impressions and the opportunity to escape from everyday problems.
