Eating Habits.

-what kind of food you think is healthy;

-what junk food is;

-if you think you have a healthy diet;

- if you often eat out or at home with your family

When it comes to speaking about healthy eating, I’d like to say, that it’s very important as we can benefit from it.

Healthy food is food that has many vitamins and minerals. Mostly, you can find them in fresh vegetables and fruit, for example, carrots, cabbage, tomatoes, apples, grapes. Eggs are a good source of protein and vitamins. Red meat such as beef can be part of a healthy diet. It helps your body to get enough iron and protein.

As for junk food, it is mostly fast food, fizzy drinks and sweets. They contain a lot of sugar and saturates fats. It is poor in vitamins and fiber. Besides, junk food has many calories and people quickly put on weight.

In my opinion, I keep to a healthy diet. For breakfast, I eat dairy products or cereals rich in calcium. For lunch I usually eat soup, meat or oily fish and vegetables which are good for my skin, brain and muscles. Dinner is the last meal of a day. That’s why, I have salad and a glass of juice. I avoid eating junk food.

My family prefers eating at home because my mother cooks tasty food and I often help her. Only when we have special occasions, we eat out at a restaurant.

To sum up, I’d like to stress that “we are what we eat”. We should keep to a balanced diet to be healthy and fit.
