Тема урока: Adventure Vacations. Present Simple Tense. Present Continuous Tense. Future Simple Tense.


Цели:

Образовательная: совершенствование лексических навыков и навыков говорения по теме “Free Time Activities. Adventure Vacations” и грамматических навыков по теме “Present Simple Tense. Present Continuous Tense. Future Simple Tense” на основе ранее изученного материала.

Развивающая: создать условия для развития коммуникативных навыков посредством монологической и диалогической речи, создать условия для отработки навыков и умений в говорении и восприятии речи на слух.

Воспитательная: расширить общий кругозор учащихся; создать условия для развития памяти, внимания, воображения; способствовать развитию культуры взаимоотношений при работе в парах, группах, коллективе; содействовать развитию интереса к изучению иностранного языка; содействовать повышению уровня мотивации на уроках через средства обучения.

Тип урока: урок развивающего контроля.


Оборудование: аудиозапись мультфильма «Peppa Pig», видео мультфильма «Peppa Pig», раздаточный материал (текст заданий для парной/групповой работы), презентация «Adventure Vacations».


Ход урока


Teacher: Good afternoon, children! Today our topic is “Adventure Vacations”. What are we going to talk about?


Pupils: We’re going to talk about free time activities. We’re going to talk about rest. We’re going to talk about holidays.


T: Maybe you are right. Listen and guess the characters’ appearance, their clothes, where they are, what they are doing. Are they friends or relatives (аудиозапись мультфильма «Peppa Pig» - приложение 1, 2, 3)?


P1: I think it’s a man. He’s tall and plump; he’s got fair hair and blue eyes. He’s wearing trousers and a sweater. He’s walking.


P2: I believe it’s a girl. She’s short and slim. She’s got dark hair and green eyes. She’s wearing a coat and boots. She’s walking with her family.


P3: I think it’s a woman. She’s tall and slim. She’s got dark hair and hazel eyes. She’s wearing a coat and a hat. She’s going to ski with her family.


T: Thank you for your answers. Look at the screen! Were we right?


Pupils: Yes, we were.


T: Watch the beginning of the cartoon. How do you think – what happens next (видео мультфильма «Peppa Pig» - приложение 4)?

P1: They are going to ski.


P2: They are going to go for a walk.


P3: They are going to drink some hot tea.

T: Let’s watch the video to check if we were right (видео мультфильма «Peppa Pig» - приложение 4).


T: Let’s check if you’ve watched the video attentively. Answer my questions:

  1. Who came to the mountain?

  2. Who sang the song?

  3. Why can’t the car drive up the mountain?


P1: Pepper and her family.


P2: Pepper.


P3: Because the mountain is too slippery.


T: True/false statements. Correct the false ones:

  1. The bus is carrying everyone to the top of the mountain.

  2. Daddy Pig likes heights.

  3. Mummy Pig, George and Pepper like the ride.


P1: False. The ski-lift does.


P2: No, he’s afraid of heights.


P3: Yes, that’s true.


T: Finish the sentence:

  • Pepper says: “Daddy is a walking talking ….”


P1: … snowman!


T: Watch the video without the sound and guess what the characters are doing, what they are talking about right now.

Pupils: They’re asking their teacher to ski for them. She skis perfectly. The children like the tricks. Mummy Pig can ski, too. She’s skiing somewhere!


T: Let’s watch the video with the sound and check if we were right (видео мультфильма «Peppa Pig» - приложение 6).


Pupils: Yes, we were right!


T: Now let’s think about the continuation of this story (Слайд 2). You’ll work in pairs and a group. Take a card, you’ll get a task. Think what happens next and:

  1. Make an advertisement of the place where they are.

  2. Criticize the video. What are the characters doing wrong?

  3. Think about the continuation of the story.

  4. Interview one of the characters.

Present your ideas.


Pupils work in pairs/groups for several minutes and then present their work.


T: As a conclusion let’s write and read a cinquain – the first line is one word – our topic – “Holidays”. The second line – two adjectives describing the first line. The third line – three action verbs. The fourth line – a phrase describing the topic. The fifth line is a synonym or association with the first line (Слайд 3).


Pupils work in pairs and present their cinquains.


T: Thank you for your work!
