Wales is a part of the United Kingdom and the island of Great Britain , bordered by England to its east, the Irish Sea to its north and west, and the Bristol Channel to its south. It had a population of 3 million people.

The largest cities in the south of Wales are Cardiff, Swansea and Newport.

Cardiff is the capital of Wales. It is the main seaport and industrial centre. Cardiff has been the capital since 1955.
Eisteddfod
Wales is famous for Eisteddfod. It is the largest and oldest festival of Welsh culture, which is held every year in different areas of Wales.
National Parks
There are three beautiful National Parks and four protected areas in Wales.
