Actual significance of the problem under study
Surgeons, obstetricians, anesthesiologists, gynecologists and practicing therapists can legally apply this technique within their competence.
Purpose of the study
To outline the urgent relevance and effectiveness of hypnosis use as a method of treatment in modern medicine.
Practical significance of the study
- To inform conference participants about effectiveness and availability of hypnosis use in modern medicine ;
- to inspire young healthcare professionals to do research work in the field of physiology and medicine;
- to practice professional English using medical terms.
Hypnosis is a temporary condition characterized by a concentrated focus of attention and a high flexibility to suggestion; the state of hypnosis is caused by the influence of a hypnotherapist or purposeful self-hypnosis.
The use of hypnosis for therapeutic purposes is called "hypnotherapy".
The Research Institute of Clinical Hypnosis and the Institute of the Human Brain named after N.P. Bekhtereva of Russian Academy of Sciences study the therapeutic effect of hypnosis.

Indications for the use of hypnotic therapy:
