Please, look at this picture and tell me what you can see. [sea, beach, ice cream, hat]

• I used this task at the beginning of the lesson before presenting new vocabulary in order to elicit the topic of the lesson. It was quite useful and effective for activating brainwork and motivation of my student. However, it’s important to mention that she was a bit confused at first because she hadn’t done such exercise before.

Answering the questions:

Which clothes do you wear during summer?

What do you do at the beach?

Which items do you usually take to the beach?

2) Presenting new vocabulary on the topic «Summer».

Listen to the recording and repeat after the speaker. Write down the words with translation.
