History of College

• The school was founded by decree of king Henry VI as a school that will prepare future students of king's College, University of Cambridge.

• In the Middle of the century the school was known for his Spartan upbringing and rigorous daily routine.

Features of the College

• Eaton consists of 25 colleges. In one of them study the Royal scholars (King's Scholars) pay tuition of no more than 10% of the cost of studying is completely free. Students remaining 24 colleges called Oppidans, and they, or rather their parents pay tuition out of pocket.
