Игра «Счастливый случай» на тему: «Royal Family Quiz»

Цели: 1. Активизировать умственно-речевую деятельность учащихся

2. Расширить социокультурную компетенцию учащихся

3. Развивать умение логически мыслить

4. Развивать умение использовать самостоятельно приобретённые знания.

Оборудование: карточки (что любит и не любит королева), плакат с кроссвордом, постер с изображением родословного древа королевской семьи,

портреты членов королевской семьи, магнитофон, кассета, секундомер.

Ход игры

1 гейм: - Разминка

Команды получают по три вопроса. На обдумывание 30 секунд. За правильный ответ - 1 балл.

1.Who is the Head of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland? ( Queen Elizabeth II )

2. When did she ascend to the throne? ( She ascended to the throne after her father’s death in 1952 and was crowned in Westminster Abbey in June 1953.)

3. Where was Princess Elizabeth educated? (She was educated at home with Princess Margaret, her younger sister. She studed constitutional history, low, art, music, learned to ride.)

4. What do you know about the Queen’s husband? ( His full name is His Royal Highness Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. They got married in 1947 in Westminster Abbey.)

5. How many children have the Royal Couple? (They have 4 children: Prince Charles, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew, Prince Edward.)

III гейм: - Что любит и не любит королева

Каждая команда получает карточки, на которых записано, что любит и что не любит королева. На протяжении трёх минут одна команда должна отобрать карточки со вкусами королевы, а вторая команда – карточки с названиями того, что не нравится королеве. Карточки не должны быть одинаковыми. За правильное выполнение задания команда получает 3 балла.

Командам предлагается найти в кроссворде названия семи предметов, которые королева берёт с собой, отправляясь в путешествие. На плакате написаны толкования этих слов. Командам даётся по три минуты на формулирование определения и нахождение этих слов.

V гейм: - Генеалогическое древо королевской семьи.

На постере изображено родословное древо английской королевской семьи с перечнем имён и лет жизни. Под деревом размещены портреты членов королевской семьи. Командам предлагается дополнить родословное дерево портретами.

По окончании последнего гейма подводятся итоги игры и награждаются победители.
