Интеллектуально-развлекательная игра In the World of English для учащихся 4 класса

Цель: обобщение лексического и грамматического материала по изученным темам.

Задачи:

Образовательная: расширять кругозора учащихся.

Развивающие: развивать познавательную активность и умения применять полученные знания в новой коммуникативной ситуации; развивать интеллектуальные способности; формировать мотивацию к изучению английского языка.

Воспитательные: воспитывать уважительное отношение к другой культуре; развитие умения работать в команде.

Комментарии: Урок проводится в виде соревнования между командами учащихся 4 класса.

Ход урока

I. Организационный момент. Представление команд.

Good morning, dear friends. I’m glad to see you at our game. Two teams are going to compete now. So, let’s start!

Ребята, сегодня у нас необычный урок, а урок-игра. Две команды будут выполнять задания конкурсов. Та команда, которая наберет больше очков, и будет победителем. Желаю удачи!

Meet the teams!

(За игровой стол садятся члены команды.)

Introduce your team, please.

(Капитан представляет свою команду.)

 And now I would like to introduce our jury. They will keep the score.

(Представление членов жюри.)

II. Проведение конкурсов.

(Жюри подводит итоги третьего конкурса.)

Конкурс 1 «letters» ( см.слайд2)

6 карточек с 5 буквами для каждой команды

Конкурс2 «Answer the questions» ( см.слайд1)

Our first game is “Warming-up”. Each team should answer my question in turn.

3. What day comes after Friday? (Saturday)

4. Who is my mother’s mother? (My grandmother)

5. Who is my mother’s daughter? (My sister)

7. What is the weather like in summer?

8. What is the weather like in winter?

9. What is the weather like in autumn?

10. What is the weather like in spring?
