Конспект урока в 5 классе по ФГОС

на тему “ People’s appearance” “ Identifying and describing people”


Тип урока:  урок закрепления и обобщения полученных знаний.


Предметные УУД:

- совершенствовать лексические, грамматические и речевых навыки и умения;

- формировать у учащихся навыки и умения описывать внешность людей, используя тематическую лексику, глаголы to be, to have, в соответствии с предложенным стилем речи;

-практиковаться в монологической речи, в диалогическом общении;

сопутствующая задача: совершенствование произносительных навыков, развитие умения читать/аудировать с целью полного понимания информации и с целью извлечения конкретной информации.


Метапредметные УУД:

-развивать познавательные процессы и мыслительные навыки, умение сравнивать, анализировать, обобщать, делать выводы, планировать свое высказывание;

- развивать способность работать в группе, достигать согласия, приходить к единому мнению.

Личностные УУД:

- воспитывать уважительное отношение к собеседнику, умение формировать своё собственное мнение, давать оценки;

-воспитывать культуру общения;

-воспитывать чувство товарищества;

-воспитывать желание общаться на английском языке и получать при этом удовольствие и радость.

Социокультурный аспект:

- способствовать развитию культуры взаимоотношений при работе в парах, группах, коллективе;

-содействовать развитию интереса к изучению иностранного языка.

1. Оргмомент.

2. Мотивирование к учебной деятельности.



Dear boys and girls, look at the photos. (slide 1).

What can you see in the photos? (People)

Are they of different age? (Yes, they are)

Are they of different nationalities? (Yes, they are)

Are they alike? (No, they aren’t)

How did you know about this? (They look like differently. They have different appearance.)

You are right. So, try to guess. What is the topic of our lesson? (“People’s appearance”)

So, the topic of our lesson is “People’s appearance” (slide 2)

The Simpsons is a very popular TV show, not just in America but all over the world. It is about a funny cartoon family from USA.

a) Scan the text about Lisa Simpson and be ready to answer my questions.

What does Lisa look like?

What is she like?

b) And now, look at the screen and match the pictures to the texts.

Draw a line.

c) Dear boys and girls, look here in these texts some words are missed.

Let’s read the texts and fill in the gaps.

Kate, read the text about Lisa and fill in the missing word.

Come out to the screen and fill in.

So, the 1st : revise the words.

There are some toys in front of you.

Red is excellent, yellow is good, blue is bad.
