Тема: Мой дом/моя квартира. Активизация употребления в речи новых лексических единиц.

Данный урок является первым в системе уроков по теме «Британские дома». Помимо развития коммуникативной компетенции, урок способствует формированию лингвострановедческой компетенции, давая фоновые знания о различных домах в Великобритании.

Цель урока: развитие коммуникативной компетенции

Задачи:

1. практические:

• развитие навыков устной речи;

• развитие навыков письма;

• развитие навыков чтения вслух;

• развитие навыков и умений восприятия англоязычной речи на слух.

1. воспитательные:

   • воспитание толерантного отношения к иноязычной культуре, к изучаемому языку;

   • развитие мотивации учения;

   • воспитание культуры общения.

2. образовательные:

• Расширение кругозора учащихся через знакомство с новыми лексическими единицами по теме «Дома британцев»

• Развитие познавательного интереса к различному образу жизни.

1. развивающие:

• развитие внимания, воображения, памяти, мышления, логики;

• развитие языковых, индивидуальных и интеллектуальных способностей учащихся.

Формы работы: фронтальная, парная.

Оснащение урока: доска, компьютер, экран, проектор, аудиодиск, наглядность.

Ход урока:

I Организационный момент. (2 мин.)

• Good morning, boys and girls. I'm glad to see you today.

• Sit down, please.

• Who is on duty today? What day is it today? What is the date? Who is absent?

• What is the weather like today? What do you like to do in such weather? Where do you stay at bad weather? (At home).

II Постановка темы урока, сообщение цели. (1 мин.)
(на интерактивной доске 1 слайд)

- Today at our lesson we will discuss the English houses, learn several new words and decide if an Englishman's home is his castle.

III Речевая разминка. (2 мин.)

(на интерактивной доске появляются пословицы)

- Look at the smart board. There are several proverbs about home. Let's translate them, read and learn.

East or West home is best (В гостях хорошо, а дома лучше).

There is no place like home (В гостях хорошо, а дома лучше).

An Englishman's home is his castle (Мой дом - моя крепость).

IV Введение новых лексических единиц. (8 мин.)
(презентация лексических единиц).

- Look at the board, there are two words home and house. Translate them.

-What is the difference between them? Read the examples.

Home- the place where you live or where you feel that you belong (принадлежишь).

It's time to go home.

Russia is my home

House- the building that is made for people to live in.

• There are many new houses in our street.

• What colour is your country house?

• Let's do the exercise. It's on the smart board.

“Magic square”

Find types of the houses and words about home.

• Now it's time for the types of houses. Take your dictionaries and write down new words. Look at the smart board.

Types of houses in Great Britain:

A detached house [ditˊæʧt]- особняк, обособленно стоящий дом.

A semi-detached house [ˎsemiditˊætft]- дом, имеющий общую стену с соседним домом.

A terraced house ['terəst]- дом ленточной застройки, стоящий в ряду одинаковых домов с общими стенами.

Block of flats- многоквартирный дом.

A castle [ka:sl]- замок.

A palace [pælis]- дворец.

V Первичное закрепление лексического материала. (2 мин.)

- Now look at the smart board, there are the definitions of types of houses. Guess the type by the definition.

• A large building or a group of buildings with thick walls and towers. - A castle.

• The official home of a ruler (правитель). - A palace.

• A continuous row of similar (ряд одинаковых) houses joined together in one block. — A terraced house.

• A large building divided into rooms. - A block of flats.

• A house joined to another house by one shared wall. - A semi-detached house.

VI Активизация навыков аудирования. (7 мин.)

- Look at the smart board, there is a word - list:

(an area f'sdrid]- район, область, зона;

to introduce [jntrd 'dju:sj- представить

to describe [dis 'kraib]- описывать

a residential area [rezi'denʃəl]- район частных домов;

neighborhood ['neibdhud]- соседство;

restaurant ['restrain]- ресторан;

souvenir shop ['su:vdnid]~ сувенирный магазин).

- These words will help you to understand the text.

- Now it's time to listen to the tape where the man will tell us about the place where he lives.

Организация прослушивания диалога из упр. 44, с 136 . Учебники во время прослушивания должны быть закрыты. Задание для детей: прослушать диалог и ответить не вопрос «Where does the person live?».

• It's time to answer the question. (He lives not far from the centre of London. He lives in the area called Bloomsbury. He lives near the Regent's Park).

VIII Совершенствование навыков аудирования и чтения. (13 мин.)

- Let's continue listening to the dialogue and compare your description with Mr
Philpott's description.

Учащиеся слушают вторую часть диалога, выполняют задание упр. 46 с. 136 и отвечают на вопросы учителя. Во время прослушивания учебники открыты.

• Does Mr Philpott live in a big house?

• How many rooms has he got?

• Has his family got a garden?

• What can you see near his garden?

• Why is this area popular with tourists?

- Now let's read the dialogue in pairs .

IX Первичный контроль лексических навыков (7 мин.)

- Thank you for your work.

- Now you will have a little test. I‘ll give you shits of paper. Write down you name, surname and the number of your class.

- At your shits of paper you can see the names of the types of houses of Englishmen. Now at the smart board you will see the pictures of different types of houses. Match the names of houses with their pictures.

X Подведение итогов, задание на дом.

- Thank you for your work.

- Your home task is ex. 44, 46 (отчитать), the new words to learn by heart.
