T: Good afternoon, dear boys and girls, our guests! Welcome to our party! Today two teams are going to show us their knowledge of English. First of all I want to introduce the judges of our competition to you. I wish success and good luck to our teams. Please teams, welcome to the stage!

Конкурс №1 «Greeting». 

T :Now our teams should introduce themselves and tell their names, mottoes. So, who are you? (первой команде)

Названия команд Friends –(We are friends) Девизы: We are united- we are best (Когда мы едины, мы непобедимы)

Bulldogs -(We are bulldogs)

Small steps big results. It is all about us.(Маленькими шагами мы достигаем больших результатов .Это все мы!)

Конкурс №2 «Warming up.» Guess.

T: Let’s remember the family members. Оne point for each correct answer

Your mother`s son is your ( brother ).

Your father`s father is your ( grandfather ).

Your mother`s husband is your ( father ).

Your father`s brother is your ( uncle ).

Your mother's daughter is your (sister ).

Your mother and your father are your ( parents)

Конкурс № 4 «Make the word » . 

T: Next task you get the envelops with letters please make up a word from them

Команды получают конверт с буквами. Нужно из этих букв составить слово на английском языке.

Конверт №1: Beautiful (красивый) – 9 букв

Конверт №2: Fantastic (фантастический) – 9 букв

Могут быть подсказки: по одной букве заглавной, чтобы знать, с чего начинать.

Конкурс № 5 «Translaters» Переводчики. 

T: I need one participants from each teams , come here .The contest “Translaters” I read the text you should translate it. First text for you. Кто справится лучше с заданием, тот и получает балл

Текст 1. This animal is very big and lives in Africa. It has got a long trunk, big ears and it is grey. An elephant is nice strong and friendly .It eats grass and green leaves. You can see it in the Zoo in many countries.

Текст 2. This animal lives in Australia and is very nice animal. It is not very big. They have got sharp claws for climbing. They have got grey fur. It likes eucalyptus leaves

Учитель называет число по-английски, а участники (по одному представителю от команды) должны, кто быстрее и правильнее, найти карточку с этим числом. Карточки лежат на столе. Конкурс № 8 «Знаете ли вы Великобританию?» .

Команды получают тест по страноведению, где должны отметить правильные ответы. За каждый правильный ответ получают 1балл.

Trafalgar Square – is the most famous of London squares. It is situated in the centre of London not far from Westminster and Buckingham Palace. The square was named after Admiral Nelson who had won the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805 and there is Nelson’s Column in the centre of the Place.

Big Ben – is the name of the huge clock-bell on the top of Big Ben. Big Ben is really a bell. You hear it every hour. It is the biggest one in Britain. It was called Big Ben after Sir Benjamin Hall, who looked after the building of the clock.

Tower Bridge  – thе River Thames flows through London and there are 17 bridges over the Thames. It is the most famous but not the oldest bridge in London. It was built in 1894 not far from the Tower of London. It became the symbol of London. It opens and ships go up and down the River Thames.

Buckingham Palace – was built in 1703. It is the residence of the Queen. British kings and queens live there when they are in London. A lot of tourists go to Buckingham Palace. They stand outside and see the Changing of the Guard.
