It's Family Day at School

Why don't you devote the whole school day to the nearest and dearest?

In the school hall you can exhibit dif­ferent project works on such topics as "My Family Tree", "My Life Story", "What Father Means", etc. You can also organize reciting or learning family rhymes and poems right at the lessons. You can speak about family traditions or the most unforgettable day from the life of your family as well. During the breaks it's advisable to show a family video film. It's not a bad idea to have "The Tree of Wishes (Love)" where the students can stick their notes with the best words to the nearest and the dear­est. That will help and teach them to express their love and understand the feelings of others.

To crown it all why don't you organize any party devoted to the family life?

Some preparatory work should defi­nitely be done. Make a "Picture Gal­lery" of family pictures including funny ones. Decorate the hall with proverbs and sayings about a family. Make a large colourful family tree, etc.
