Music at school (Myзыка в школе)

We hear and listen to music every day. Music surrounds us everywhere. We need music when we work, when we go for a walk, especially we are happy or sad and we are good or not at the weekend.

There are a lot of different programs and videos we are able to watch on TV about the value of music education.

In the world there are a lot of music school classes of all elementary school which help preparing young students for future education.

I would like to touch my topic school and children, such as the field of music and school education and another side of their life.

The goal of all students and the educational system in general is to provide a rigorous and balanced education for their students. It’s important for them especially for future life experiences.

Although school is not home but the place where children not only study academic subjects and learn many things that parents don’t tell in everyday life.

Sometimes we forget that any child needs to express himself and not to be aloof from life.

Many researchers based on past experience and think the music education can be as a part of curriculum.

Music enhances learning and makes it more enjoyable.

It is scientifically proven that music enhances brain functioning.

Playing music uses many brain functions simultaneously: motor control, imagination, hearing, sight, memory and etc.

Music encourages academic skills. For example, counting rhythms and beats helps in Math.

More music develops skills with speaking, reading.

Practicing scales and chords and mastering complex musical patterns can increase IQ by up to seven points.

Music may be our children’s vehicle of expression.

Music is a gift we can give our children that will be with them for entire life.
