(Сценарий празднования Европейского Дня языков)

A New Language Is a New World.

Аннотация.

Сценарий проведения Европейского Дня иностранных языков ”A New Language Is a New World”.

Знание иностранных языков - одна из основ успешного взаимодействия молодежи европейских стран. Даже свобода передвижения теряет часть своего смысла, если человек не обладает свободой общения с представителями других культур, той свободой, которую гарантирует нам знание языков.

Данное внеклассное мероприятие рассчитано на студентов 1-2 курсов. Проводится 26 сентября в Европейский День языков.

Слайды 9-14 , 22, 24-77 в презентации предполагают взаимодействие преподавателя со зрителями. Студенты отвечают на поставленные вопросы.

Цель: формировать у студентов потребность к изучению иностранного языка.

Задачи:

1) Развивать способности к догадке, к сравнению и сопоставлению,

формулированию выводов

2) Учить навыкам актёрского мастерства, выразительности чтения и правильному произношению

3) Воспитывать уважительное отношение к другим языкам.

Оборудование:

Плакат English-speaking Countries, флаги Германии и Великобритании, аудиозапись песен на разных языках, плакаты к Европейскому Дню языков, пословицы, высказывания писателей о языке, дерево знаний (рисунок), карточки, мультимедийное оборудование, презентация Great Britons .

Пословицы: “ Knowledge is a power”, ” A new language is a new world”.

I.V.Goette “He, who knows no foreign language, doesn’t know his own one”.

H. Palmer “Learning a language has the beginning but no end “.

Teacher: Dear friends! Welcome to our party. It is devoted to the European Languages’ Day (September, 26).

We are going to talk about world languages. I hope you will learn many interesting facts at the party.

Ведущий 1: The modern world is becoming smaller all the time. Every day distances between different countries seem less. For this reason it’s becoming more and more important to know different languages, especially English.

Ведущий по-русски (3): Современный мир становиться все меньше, ведь каждый день расстояние между странами сокращается. Поэтому становиться все важнее изучать различные языки, особенно английский.

В 1: It’s quite a number! It is around 400 million people. Geographically, English is the most widespread language on earth, and it is second only to Chinese in the number of people who speak it.

В 3: Огромное количество! Около 400 миллионов человек. Географически - английский, самый распространенный язык на земле, и второй после китайского, по количеству людей, говорящих на нём.

В 1: English is also a second language of another 300 million people living in more than 60 countries. In Shakespeare’s time only a few million people spoke English. All of them lived in what is now Great Britain.

В2-Sixty-five different alphabets are used in the world today.

В2-The language with the most vowels is Sedang, a Vietnamese language, with 55 vowels sounds.

В1-The language with the least vowels is Abkhazian. It has only two vowels sounds!

В2-Chippewa, the North American Indian language of Minnesota, has 6,000 verb forms!

В 1: But learning a foreign language isn’t an easy thing. Nowadays it’s especially important to know foreign languages. You can’t learn them only from books. The best way to rеinforce what we have learnt is to put it into practice. At the end of your studies decide to go and live for a while in the country whose language you have studied. So here’re some advices to help you feel at ease and make the best of your adventure.

Trains-are great way to travel: practical and economical. Besides, you can make friends easily with your fellow—travelers.

Television—if we can understand well what people say on it television, it shows we have a very good command of the language.

В 3: Покупка местных газет поможет вам понять жизнь страны. Здесь вы познакомитесь с местными политическими и культурными новостями.

Если вы понимаете то, что люди говорят на телевидении – это показатель, что вы неплохо владеете языком.

В 2: Working- is the quickest way to find out about the everyday life of the country and it’s a way to save money so that you can extend your trip.

Friendship. On this type of trip you can meet other travelers of different nationalities who also have to communicate.

В 3: Работа – самый быстрый способ узнать о повседневной жизни страны. А также заработать денег, чтобы продлить свое пребывание там.

Дружба с людьми разных национальностей , приехавших в страну с той же целью, что и вы – поможет вам в общении.

Teacher: Еще один способ выучить язык – это знакомство с поэзией, в нашем случае, английского языка. В прошлом учебном году в колледже прошел фонетический конкурс Phonetic Flash , где студенты сняли видеоролики, на которых они декламируют образцы английской поэзии. Посмотрим два из них.

Teacher: Many famous scientists, writers and poets, politicians and sportsmen were Englishmen. They created their works, made their inventions in English. If you want to know language, you must know its history and culture. We want to preset you the quiz Great Britons. On the slides you will see the questions. You must answer them. If your answer is right you will get a special mark. The student with the most marks is the winner.
