Тема: Books in our life

Цель урока: развитие иноязычной коммуникативной, речевой, языковой, социо-культурной компентенции учащихся 

Задачи урока:

Образовательные: активизировать употребление лексики по теме «Books in my life», совершенствовать речевые умения, навыки чтения, монологической и диалогической речи,  навыки аудирования и работы над прослушанным текстом, познакомить с известными Британскими писателями и их произведениями.

Развивающие: развивать способность к умозаключению, развивать умение сравнивать, соотносить и обобщать, способствовать развитию творческой деятельности учающихся, развивать лигвострановедческий кругозор.

Воспитательные: формировать умение работать в коллективе;  воспитывать способность самостоятельно выполнять задания, воспитывать уважительное отношение к иноязычной культуре, формировать уважительное и ответственное отношение к книгам.

Предметные умения

• Умение правильно понимать значение лексических единиц и текстовой информации по теме.

• Умение составлять высказывания по теме .

Личностные УУД:

– устанавливать связь между целью деятельности и ее результатом.

Регулятивные УУД:

– осуществлять саморегуляцию и самоконтроль;
– оценивать правильность выполнения учебной задачи, возможности ее решения;
– выделять и осознавать то, что уже усвоено и что еще нужно усвоить.

Познавательные УУД:

– синтез – составление целого из частей; установление причинно-следственных связей;
– осознанное и произвольное построение речевого высказывания;
– осознанное и произвольное построение речевого высказывания с использованием опоры;

Try to guess what is it? … Right! It is a book Are books worth reading or are they a waste of time? Why are books still so popular? What’s your opinion?

We like different books. As for me I like detectives. And you?

Our teams did a little researching about books in their classes. They choose one favourite book of teenagers and did the booktrailer. Let’s look at them.

But do you know something about British writers. Here you can see some of them. Listen to the questions and choose the name of the writer. (слайд 8)
