Праздник цветов

Пояснительная записка

Данное воспитательное мероприятие на английском языке предназначено для детей летнего пришкольного лагеря.

Цель: выявить знатоков и ценителей прекрасного среди отрядов лагеря.

Задачи: 1. Познакомить детей с различными цветами.

2. Расширить знания детей о цветах через игровую и творческую деятельности.

3. Провести конкурсную программу среди отрядов лагеря для выявления знатоков и ценителей цветов.

4. Продолжить работу над развитием творческих способностей детей, над сплочением детского коллектива.

5. Воспитывать любовь к природе, народным традициям, английскому языку.

Возрастная категория:  дети летнего пришкольного лагеря (2-5 классы)

Оборудование: ПК, экран, проектор.

Мероприятие проводит один из отрядов лагеря. В ходе предварительной подготовки выбираются двое ведущих (девушка, юноша), с младшими участниками (цветочками) отрабатывается чтение стихов о цветах, подготавливаются номера участниками художественной самодеятельности, заготавливаются цветы. Остальные отряды получают задания: нарисовать рисунки о цветах, подготовить художественное чтение (проза или стихотворение обязательно о цветах). Для оформления используются живые цветы и рисунки детей о цветах, вышитыми салфетками, платочками с орнаментами на цветочную тематику, цветами из бумаги. Конкурс на лучшую презентацию цветка объявляется заранее.

Ход праздника

Звучит музыка П.И. Чайковского «Апрель» («Подснежник»), «Вальс Цветов» из балета «Щелкунчик». Под звуки музыки выходят двое ведущих, юноша и девушка.

Ведущий: Hello, dear guests! It is summer, there are many flowers everywhere, so welcome to our Party!

Flowers are everywhere around us. There are even names with flowers in them: Margaret, Violet, Lily, Rose. Flowers can be found in many fairy tales around the world.

Rose is one of the most popular flowers. Why? Well, first of all, rose is the floral symbol of England. The heraldic emblem is called the Tudor Rose. It is made up of a red rose and a white rose – the symbols of two rival dynasties.

- Other parts of the UK also have floral symbols. For example, the Thistle is the floral symbol of Scotland, and the Daffodil is the floral symbol of Wales.

- We also know a famous legend of Narcissus who liked his reflection in the water so much that he was turned into a beautiful flower.

Flowers – are different and beautiful. Do you know how do they grow?

Pupil 1: (одет в коричневый костюм, на груди большими буквами написано SEED)

A plant will grow from a tiny seed,

Some water and sun is all I need.

Pupil 2: (одет в коричневый костюм, на туфлях коричневые полосы, символизирующие корни растения, на брюках надпись ROOTS.)

First roots grow underground,

They suck up minerals from all the ground.

Pupil 3: (одет в зелёные брюки или платье, на которых написаноSTEM, а на рукавах- BRANCHES.

Then comes stems, some tall, some stout,

And next the branches spread about.

Pupil 4: (одет в зелёное, на рукавах приклеены листочки, на которых написано LEAVES

Leaves growing all shapes and sizes,

Watch this new life as it rises. (Приложение1)

На сцену выходят участники праздника, одетые в костюмы цветов. Чтение стихотворений сопровождается показом слайдов – фотографий цветов.

Pupil 5 (Daisy) (Приложение 2)

Flowers bloom from buds on stems,

They are as pretty as precious gems.

Pupil 6: (василёк)

New seeds travel to and fro,

By wind and water, on we go.

Pupil 7: (подснежник)

And the cycle keeps on going,

Soon new stems and leaves are showing.

Pupil 8:

Upon the blooming meadow,

A flower may be seen.

Its blooms are blue as heaven,

Its leaves are fresh and green.

And it is shy and humble,

This flower of the meadow,

For all that it will whisper

Is “Please, Forget—me—not”.

Pupil 9:

Roses come, roses go

Violets begin to blow.

Neither you nor I may know

Why they come or why they go.

Ведущая: Some flowers are very rare. One of many is Edelweiss. Read the text and say what is special about this flower.

Edelweiss grows high in the mountains of Alps. It is difficult to get there.

Strong and brave men can find it.

In XIX century the plant became rare. In 1907 it was promulgate the law that banned to pull out the flowers.

A poem

Edelweiss, Edelweiss, every morning you greet me.

Small and white, clean and bright,

You look happy to meet me.

Blossom of snow, may you bloom and grow,

Bloom and grow forever.

Edelweiss, Edelweiss, bless my homeland forever.

Ведущий:

And now guess the riddles.

-You can see its blue head in the cornfields in summer. (A cornflower)

- It is the first flower to pop up above the ground in spring. (A snowdrop)

- When it blooms in spring, it looks like the sun. (A dandelion)

- It can be different colours, but it is always the queen of flowers (A rose)

- It is white and smells good. It blooms in May. (Lily of the valley)

Ведущая:How many seasons are there in the year? What season has no flowers?

It’s right! It is winter. All the rest are rich in flowers. Let’s have a competition. There are two baskets. Pick up flowers. Put spring flowers into one basket and summer flowers into the other.

Дети, которые хотят принять участие в конкурсе, делятся на 2 команды. На импровизированной клумбе растут «цветы». На каждом цветке написано его название на английском языке. За отведённое время нужно в корзины собрать только те цветы, которые растут в определённое время года.

Ведущий:We all know the song about old MacDonald, who had a farm. Let’s imagine that he had not a farm, but a garden with beautiful flowers and sings a song for them. Each group will sing a song about flowers that he grows.

Ведущий подходит к одной группе, они выбирают цветок, о котором будут петь куплет песни. А затем к другой.

Ведущая: And now you will present a flower.

Каждый отряд показывает пятиминутную презентацию любого цветка.

Жюри выбирает лучшую презентацию и вручает отряду грамоту.

За конкурсы победители награждаются отдельно.
