• British stage, film and television actor,
• winner and nominee of many awards,
• including the «Academy Award»

• He is best known for his roles as Sherlock Holmes in the BBC series «Sherlock»
• In 2016, the science fiction film Doctor Strange was released, in which Benedict played the role of the main character, whom he later played in the films Thor: Ragnarok, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Finale.

• Cumberbatch is a distant relative of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, who created the image of Sherlock Holmes, who made the actor famous all over the world. This amazing discovery was made public in 2017 by researchers at Ancestry, one of the largest American companies engaged in compiling family trees.
