British people celebrate the greatest
holiday in England –
Christmas.
Christmas
Christmas is a religious holiday. On this day British people celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. This holiday means the beginning of the new year and the new life.
Christmas symbols are very famous all over the world, people love them very much.
Christmas Tree
A Christmas tree is a decorated tree, usually an evergreen conifer such as spruce, pine, or fir or an artificial tree of similar appearance, associated with the celebration of Christmas.
Wreath
A wreath is an assortment of flowers, leaves, fruits, twigs or various materials that is constructed to resemble a ring.
In English-speaking countries, wreaths are used typically as household ornaments, mainly as an Advent and Christmas decoration
Santa Claus
Santa Claus , also known as Saint Nicholas , - Father Christmas , or simply Santa , is a legendary figure of Western Christian culture who is said to bring gifts to the homes of well-behaved ("good" or "nice") children on Christmas Eve and the early morning hours of Christmas Day.
Christmas Stocking
Children hang Christmas stockings on the beds or near the fireplace.
Candy Cane
A candy cane or peppermint stick is a cane-shaped stick candy often associated with Christmastide, as well as Saint Nicholas Day. It is traditionally white with red stripes and flavored with peppermint, but is also made in a variety of other flavors and colors.
