Khuchninsky waterfall

The pearl of the Tabasaran district of the Republic of Dagestan is the Khuchninsky waterfall, located in the valley of the Khanagchai River.

The attraction is very popular to visit. During the season, it is crowded here, but in the morning you can catch a moment and be alone. The waterfall is located at the end of the street, in a dead end. There is a road leading to it, along which you can walk or drive by car.

The place impresses with its power, strength and energy. The cascade with two steps has a total height of 30 meters. The first ledge is about 3 meters high. From the second cascade, a powerful stream overcomes a distance of 15 meters and flows into a small lake with the purest water.

No wonder of all the waterfalls in Dagestan, it is Khanagsky that is considered the most popular. It is not only beautiful, but also located in a unique corner. It is surrounded by wild broad-leaved forests, in which plants from the Red Book are found

A hotel and a cafe were opened especially for guests near the waterfall, where tired travelers can refresh themselves. But those who do not want to stay in the room, find places for themselves in a nearby clearing. Summer holidays with tents are also very popular there.

Even a person who has visited all the waterfalls of Russia is impressed by this place. The way to it is not difficult, since the passage to it is available even by private car. First you need to get to the village of Huchni. If you go by public transport, there is a city bus from Derbent. From it to the waterfall is only one kilometer. You can overcome this distance by taxi or walk.
