I think, the ant is better than the grasshopper. hardworking – more hardworking good- better Сравнительная степень употребляется для сравнения людей или предметов. После прилагательного обычно используется “than”.

Look! The grasshopper is taller than the ant. He is braver than the ant.

The grasshopper is funnier than the ant. But the ant is busier .
