• London is an old city. It is more than 2. 000 years old. There are many places of interest in the city: The City, Trafalgar Square, The White Tower , the Tower of London, St. Paul’s Cathedral , The Houses of Parliament, The National Gallery, Nelson’s Column, Big Ben, Tower Bridge, London Bridge.
• We start from Trafalgar Square with its fountains, a tall column , a statue of Admiral Nelson and the National Gallery.

• You can see the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, which lies on the North bank of the Thames. It is the seat of the British Government.

• The most famous tower is The clock Tower or Big Ben. The BBC first broadcasts the chimes on the 31st of December 1923 - there is a microphone in the turret connected to Broadcasting House.

St. Paul’s Cathedral is one of the most famous church in London. The architect is Sir Christopher Wren.

Tower of London founded nearly a millennium ago and expanded upon over the centuries since. The Tower of London has protected the city.

• London Eye. It is one of the biggest observation wheels in the world. Its height is 135 meters. It has 32 cabins which symbolize 32 districts of London. It takes 30 minutes to make a full circle. But it is the view you will never forget. The cost is about £20.

• London National Gallery. The gallery has more than 2000 works of world-known artists of XIII-XX centuries. You can spend the whole day there and it will not be enough. What is interesting, is that the gallery is free for everyone.
