Цели урока:

• Развивающая – создать условия для развития речемыслительной активности;

• Воспитательная – создать условия для воспитания культуры общения, развитие социальных характеристик личности обучающихся;

Оснащение урока: учебник «Английский язык. 5 класс»; аудиоприложение; магнитофон;

Ход урока:

Greetings: Good afternoon, boy and girls. Nice to see all of you. Please, take your sits.

Warming-up: Today we talking about healthy and unhealthy food. To warm-up the lesson let’s revise our active vocabulary. I’ll show the cards with our active words. The letters in these words are mixed. Try to guess the word.

S E A B T E L G E V – (vegetables) I T U F R – (fruit)

L O R L – (roll) R E C E A L – (cereal)

A C O N B N D A G G S E – (bacon and eggs) S P C R S I – (crisps)

E N O H Y – (honey) G U S R A – (sugar)

Aims: Good! Well, today we will learn how to make the conversation about what do we can eat for breakfast or lunch.

Before listening task: Let’s look at the black board here you the table of healthy and unhealthy food. You should put “healthy words” onto the healthy column and “unhealthy words” onto the unhealthy column.

Listening task: Now, let’s listen to the conversation and answer the question: “What is Nikita going to have for breakfast?”

After-listening task: Now, let’s read the conversation which we have just listened.

Minute for relax: Now, play the game “Eatable \ Uneatable”

Speaking task (Grammar): Now, look at the table in your books. It is page 6 ex.4. Here we see Countable and Uncountable Nouns. Countable nouns can be singular or plural. Singular nouns have got an article “a”, plural nouns have got a pronoun “some”. Uncountable nouns also have got a pronoun “some”. For example: I’d like a sandwich (sandwich is countable, singular); I’d like some sandwiches (sandwiches is countable, plural); I’d like some jam. (jam is uncountable); Pay attention that: toast, fruit, cereal are uncountable.

Revision: At the end of our lesson let’s read a poem:

I like chicken,

I like cheese,

I like fish and chips and peas,

I like salad, I like rice,

I like food,

Food is nice.

So, who can tell me, what were we talking about?

Hometask: Ok, you are bright pupils. At home try to imagine that a British friend is staying with your family. You’re having breakfast together. Roleplay the conversation. Use the phrases in bold from ex.3a.
