At all times people loved holidays. This is a time of rest and fun, communication with loved ones, exchange of gifts, fireworks, special treats. All over the world there are holidays that coincide in all countries - New year, for example. There are also various holidays associated with historical dates. It is important to know the dates of holidays for tourists, as the holidays are events and as many official institutions , such as banks and shops may be closed. Conclusion In our research we have considered the main state and religious holidays. We have made a calendar of holidays compared by month and date. Many holidays, of course coincide with Russians, too, such as New Year, for example. There are also perfectly great holidays like Thanksgiving in the US or Guy Fawkes Day in the UK.
