Magic Mustard

Narrator: Once upon a time there lived a Queen.Her name was Salt,Queen Salt.She had a son,Prince Pepper.He was a very good Prince and loved mustard very much.One day his friend Sarah Sweet came to the palace to visit him.

(принц лежит ,рядом стоит королева и доктор)

Sarah:Good morning!

The Queen:Good morning Sarah!Our Prince is not well.

Doctor:He is very very ill!

Sarah:Oh!

The Queen:He can’t eat without mustard,and we can’t find any mustard in the shops!

Sarah:No mustard?I don’t believe it!

Doctor:It must be magic mustard.Somebody has stolen all the magic mustard seeds.

The Queen:We have told the police,but they can’t find the seeds.

Doctor:We think the Vinegar Witch has done it.But she talks only to young sweet girls.

The Queen:O,Sarah,you are a sweet young girl!Will you help us?

Sarah:Of course,I will!Where does she live?How can I get there?

Map:The Vinegar Witch lives with her Cat Midnight in a Castle which is in the mountains.You can get there by train or by bus,and you’ll have to go on foot.First,find the magic road.

Sarah:I’m sure I’ll find it!Goodbye everyone!

The Queen ,doctor:Goodbye Sarah!Good luck!

Narrator:Sarah goes to the bus station.

Sarah:When is the bus to the Magic Wood?

Officer:3.15 madam.

Sarah:How much is the ticket?

Officer: Single or return?

Sarah:Return,please.

Officer:That will be 14 pounds

Sarah:Here you are.

Officer:Thank you,Madam.

Sarah:Thank you.

The wheels on the bus

Narrator:The trip was not long.A few minutes later Sarah was under a big old tree.

Sarah:How can I get out of here?

Tree:Can’t you find the road?

Tree:Speak up!I can’t hear you!Don’t they teach you to speak English at school?

Sarah:Please,Sir,I’m looking for some magic mustard seeds.

Tree:The Vinegar Witch may have some,but I’m not sure.

Sarah:How can I find her?

Tree:Let me explain.The road to the Castle is to the left of the road leading to the main magic square.

Sarah:Thank you!

Tree:Hurry up!

Narrator:It was a long difficult way.By the time she saw the castle it was already morning.Sarah opened the door and came in.

Vinegar Witch:Come in!Come in!

(Ведьма и Кот сидят)

Vinegar Witch:Hello,my dear!Welcome to my castle.Why have you come?

Sarah:I’m looking for some magic mustard seeds.Some people say you have them.

Cat:Perhaps the people who say that are right.

Vinegar Witch:The magic seeds are in one of these boxes

(Кот протягивает коробочки)

Sarah:Which one?

Cat:We are not going to tell you that

Vinegar Witch:You must guess.

Сара открывает коробочку и находит мешочек с семенами

Vinegar Witch:Excellent!

Cat:You are lucky!

Sarah:Thank you!Goodbye!

Сара бежит во дворец

Принц лежит.Рядом королева и доктор.Сара вбегает в комнату и протягивает мешочек.

Sarah:Here you are!

The Queen Salt:You have found them!

Doctor:Now Prince will feel better!

The Queen Salt and doctor:Well done!

Королева достает поднос с хлебом,высыпает семена горчицы и дает бутерброд принцу

Prince:AAAAAA!

The Queen:What has happened?

Prince:The mustard is so hot!I have never eaten such hot mustard.It’s burning inside me!

Doctor:Don’t worry! I have some magic water!

Доктор дает чашку с водой принцу.

The Queen:Why don’t we have a party?

Все поют и танцуют.
