КВН, посвященный Дню святого Валентина для 8 классов

Цели:

• Учебный аспект: совершенствование речевых навыков и развитие умений употребления определенного стиля речи, соответствующего ситуации общения на основе творческого использования усвоенного ранее материала.

• Развивающий аспект: развитие способности к комбинации и трансформации речевых единиц и осуществлению продуктивных речевых действий, адекватных ситуации общения; развитие коммуникабельности.

• Воспитательный аспект: воспитание способности к сотрудничеству и взаимопомощи при работе в группах; способности коллективно находить решение проблем в условиях различий взглядов; терпимого отношения к особенностям поведения других людей; толерантности; воспитание культуры внешнего вида.

Сопутствующая задача: контроль сформированности речевых умений и умений учащихся самостоятельно оценивать себя в различных видах деятельности.

Сцена украшена сердцами, цветами, шариками.

ХОД ИГРЫ

Звучит песня на английском языке «Love story».

Teacher: Love! Happiness! Beauty! There are not so many days in a year when we pronounce these pleasant words. Today you have an excellent chance to plunge into the atmosphere of love and friendship, to take part in party –games, to practice the use of some pleasant words and expressions on this special occasion.

По сцене навстречу друг другу медленно идут юноша и девушка (ведущие праздника). При этом юноша читает стихотворение и дарит розу девушке.

Затем ведущие поворачиваются к публике и здороваются с ней.

Ведущий 1: Ladies and gentlemen! It’s lovely to meet you here. Welcome to our club of the Merry and Quickwitted! You know that St. Valentine’s Day is now celebrated in many countries including Russia. Today we decided to celebrate this holiday in our school. 
Ведущий 2: Dear fans!
You have the opportunities today to see the competition and of course, you may take part in it. The rules are easy. You may shout and sing together with our participants and you must support them by clapping. Try to be prompt, correct and funny. We promise our meeting will be merry and interesting.

В.1: Let me introduce our judges (представление членов жюри). We ask you, judges, not to be too critical and forgive our participants the mistakes. We ask you to say some words to our teams (обращение к судьям, напутствие жюри).
В.: St. Valentine’s Day, February 14 has been a customary day for choosing sweethearts and exchanging the special cards. So our teams have prepared such cards for you.

Команды вручают свои “валентинки” членам жюри. Один участник команды читает текст открытки по-английски, другой переводит.

Конкурс-представление. Капитан команды на английском языке с юмором представляет каждого члена команды, объясняет название команды. Каждый участник команды дарит участнику команды противника свою открытку - “валентинку” и говорит пожелание.
