• Bamboo train in Cambodia, which the locals called nori. Passengers sit on a homemade bamboo platform, powered by an electric motor, and which is located just a few centimeters above the railway tracks, traveling at a speed of 40 km per hour. The undeveloped railway tracks make the trip quite bumpy and the most comfortable thing you can afford is to sit on a grass mat. However, the fare is low and such a trip you will remember for all life. The locals use a bamboo train to move.

Rickshaws have been used in Japan since the nineteenth century and are an essential part of Japanese culture. Today rickshaw is a tourist symbol of Japan. They are in demand among tourists, being an ancient exotic kind of moving around the city.

• Amphibious bus-a transport that travels through the streets of the city and swims on the water. They can be seen in many cities around the world: Montreal and Ottawa, San Francisco and Glasgow, Rotterdam and Budapest. Toronto has its own amphibus - "Harry Hippo". Hippo is a unique vessel, accommodating about 40 passengers, which offers land and water tours of Toronto in Canada. This amphibious bus offers tourists and locals a unique way to explore the city. The trip starts on the ground and then the bus plunges into lake Ontario.

• Barco de totora or Caballitos de totora are dragon-shaped boats made from bundles of dried reed. Used over Lake Titicana in Peru, these boats have become an icon of Peru. These reed watercrafts are made and used by the Uros, a group of people living on self-made floating islands in Lake Titicana. The reed used to make boats are also used to make the islands!

• Funicular is a cable railway running up and down a steep slope. The funicular in Katoomba, Australia is world’s steepest incline railway with a maximum incline of 52 degrees. Funiculars are also found in other parts of the world such as Malaysia, Chile, Israel and European countries such as Spain, Switzerland, Norway and Italy.

Science continues to amaze us with its new discoveries and inventions, such modes of transport serve as an example. I believe that in the future there will be more unusual and at the same time wonderful modes of transport.
