Употребление some/ any, much/ many, few/ little

Some/Any

• Местоимения SOME и ANY на русский язык переводятся как – несколько, некоторое количество .
• Но:

SOME употребляется в утвердительных предложения ,

а ANY в отрицательных и вопросительных.

SOME

I have some s.

• Общий перевод слов 

few ,  a few ,  little ,  a little  –  мало.

• f ew и a few употребляются исключительнос  исчисляемыми  

существительными,

little и a little – с  неисчисляемыми .

Few и little означают   ‘мало’ , то есть недостаточно.

A few и a little –  ‘ немного’ , но достаточно.

• Примеры: few words , little flour , few cities

• Few – мало, недостаточно для дела
• A few – мало ( = несколько), но для дела достаточно.
• Примеры:

I have few bricks for building house.

We have a few articles for publication on conference.

• Little  – мало , недостаточно для дела
• A little  – немного , но для дела достаточно.
• Например:

We have little sugar for jam.

We added a little honey for cake.

• При употреблении после only используется только  a few  или  a little , хотя по значению мы зачастую получаем  мало, недостаточно .
• Например:

I have only a few minutes to describe this man.
