Урок-соревнование “Merry Trip”

Цель: повторение изученного материала за 5 класс.

Задачи:

Образовательная: расширять лингвистический кругозор учащихся.

Развивающая: способствовать развитию творческих способностей учащихся, языковых способностей, мотивации к дальнейшему изучению иностранного языка.

Воспитательная: воспитывать умение работать в команде.

Оборудование: игру проводят в зале, который украшен цветами, шарами и следующими надписями: Good luck! You are the best! Don’t worry, be happy! You are so cool! It’s fantastic! Happy competition! You are special, nice and clever!

Для соревнования нужно подготовить таблички с названиями станций на доску:

1.Alphabetical Station

2.Biological Station

3.Mathematical Station

4.Geographical Station

5.Musical Station

6.Lexical Station

7.Art Station

8.Linguistic & Cultural Station

Необходимы цветные карандаши для рисования на художественной станции.

Для лексической станции нужно 2-3 англо-русских словаря.

Победителям купить медали 1 степени и конфеты всем участникам.

Подготовительный этап: класс делится на команды по 5 человек. Задания на станциях оценивают жюри.

Ход соревнования

T: Good morning, dear children, parents and all guests!

I’m glad to see you!

Today I want to invite you in the interesting trip. This trip we shall make on one of the kinds of transport. Guess a riddle and learn what is the transport.

Little houses go down on the street

Boys and girls they are driving it.

Полотно, а не дорожка

Конь не конь – сороконожка

По дорожке той ползёт

Весь обоз один везёт.

Let’s go to trip by plain. Are you ready children? Let’s go! (гудок поезда)

1.Alphabetical Station

Расшифруйте послание паровозика

2. Biological Station – divide the words into three groups:

a zebra, a humming bird, a whale, a camel, an elephant, a shark, a giraffe, a vulture, a jellyfish, a dolphins, a fox, rays, a wolf, a penguin.

Конкурс оценивается: 1правильное слово – 1 балл

3. Mathematical Station – do the sum and write it in numbers.

Eighteen plus seventeen minus twenty five plus sixty seven minus twelve minus nineteen minus thirteen plus twenty four is ? (см. приложение 5)

Ответ: (18+17-25+67-12-19-13+24 = 57)

Конкурс оценивается: все правильно – 10 баллов (одна ошибка – минус 1 балл и т.д.)

4.Geographical Station - connect the words left and right columns

Конкурс оценивается: - за каждое правильное слово – 1 балл.

5. Musical Station – sing a songs all together

“Every week”, “Twinkle, twinkle little star”, “Clap, clap”

Конкурс оценивается: песню знают все и поют дружно – 5 баллов,

песню поют не все – 4 балла

забыли слова песни во время исполнения – 3 балла

6. Lexical Station – make up one word out of two

Конкурс оценивается: за каждое правильное слово – 1 балл.

7. Art Station – draw a picture to the description

This is a round and green island.

There are three palms on the middle island.

There are a few bananas on the palms.

A little monkey sits near the palms.

There is a lot of fish around the island.

Конкурс оценивается: всё правильно – 5 баллов (одна ошибка – минус 1 балл и т.д.)
