Тема: «Животные в нашей жизни»



Цель: совершенствование навыков устной речи по теме: «Животные в нашей жизни»

Задачи: учить понимать на слух, читать и переводить;

Развивать навыки говорения;

Воспитывать любовь к животным и интерес к английскому языку.

Оборудование: интерактивная доска, компьютер.

Ход урока.

I.Орг. момент.

T: -Get ready for the lesson, рlease! Iam waiting for you to be quiet.

Good morning now. Today we have an unusual lesson in Information Technology class. We` ll speak about animals, London Zoo and wild animal parks. And we shall discuss how to help endangered animals.

II.Фонетическая зарядка.


Let’s remember our poem about the animals. Will you recite it all together?

Listen and repeat.

P 1. London Zoo is situated in Regent’s park. There are many thousands of exotic animals at London Zoo: lions, tigers, elephants, zebras, bears, They have over five thousand insects. The Zoological society is situated in London Zoo. They are fighting to help save endangered animals all over the world.

T: What endangered animals do you know?

P 1: the African elephant

P 2: the giant panda

P 3: the black rhino

T: Yes, You are right. They are just some of these animals.

T: I can see you are interested in animals and their life. But nowadays a lot of animals live in the wild animal’s parks. What do you know about Whipsnade wild animal”s park?

P 2. Whipsnade wild animal’s park is in England. There are many different animals in the park: bears, wild pigs, wolves, foxes. At the children’s farm you can get closer to domestic animals. In the wolf wood you’ll have a good view of the wolves. The keepers of the park introduce animals around the park for you to learn more about them. At Whipsnade you will learn and understand more about the lives of the animals and how to save endangered animals.

T: Animals play a very important role in our life. We like to go to the Zoos and visit wild animals’ parks.

  • But what is the difference between a zoo and a wild animal’s park?

( In Zoos animals live in the cages. And in the wild animal’s park they live in the wild. )

  • Why do people keep animals in Zoos and parks?

(They want to help them and to save endangered animals).

  • I s it safe for scientists to work in a park?

(No, it is not. It is dangerous. There many wild animals and they can attack people.)

What do you think is better for animals to live in the wild animal’s park, in zoos, or to live in the wild?

(It is better for animals to live in the wild? Because it is their natural home.)

And of course, all of you have pets at home.



T: We shall work in groups of four now. You will ask questions to the members of your group. And then we shall have a talk about your pets.

What questions will you ask? Read and translate.

  • Do boys and girls take care of their pets?

  • What do they do at home?

  • Can you tell us about the pets of the members of your group?

  • Can you tell us about your pet.

(1. I have got a dog. It’s name is Mark. It is neither big nor small. But it is a watchdog. All members of my family take care of my dog. We always take it for a walk and we like to play with in the yard. But Mark doesn’t like to play. He likes to sleep.







2. I have got a pet. It’s a cat. Sorry, I have got two cats. My cats are different. Tisha is grey and white. Sam is grey. They are very funny. I like to play with my cats. They can run, jump and play with each other..

T. I can see you are tired. Will you stand up, please? Let’s remember the poem about animals. Listen and do the exercises.

VII. Развитие навыков аудирования.

T: You have a lot of different pets at home. And now try to guess what animals I am talking about.



-This animal lives in the forest. It’s neither big nor small. It likes to eat carrots and it is afraid of a fox and a wolf. This animal runs very fast.

(A hare).

-This animal is very big. It is grey and sometimes white. It has a very long nose. It lives in India and Africa. It likes to eat leaves and grass.

(An Elephant).

-This animal lives at home or in the street. It’s a man’s friend. It can run, but can’t fly and climb. It is very clever and friendly. (A dog).

-This animal lives in the river or near the water. It is green. It can jump and swim but it can neither run nor climb. (A frog).

-It is grey. It can run, jump and walk. It is very small. It likes bread and cheese. It lives in the house. (A Mouse).

-Gena is not a boy. He is big, long and green. He is very clever. It can swim. He has a friend Cheburashka. (A crocodile).





VIII. Развитие навыков чтения.

T: And now let’s imagine that you are going to join the Zoological society of London.But there are some rules if this society which you must know before joining it Read and translate them.

-You can be the member of the society if you love animals.

-You should take care of the any animal.

-If you have a pet at home you should look after it and feed it.

-You must be a real friend of the animal in any situation.

-You should tell other people about animals.

-If you want to know more about animals you should read books and watch programmes about them.

-Don’t forget that it is better for wild animals to live in the wild.

-If your animal is ill take it to the vet.
