• the most famous women in the British history,
• their role in the British history,
• their role in the world history.

Her reign raised England's status abroad. All in all, her 44 years on the throne provided welcome stability for the kingdom.

As Victoria's monarchy became more symbolic than political, it created for Britain the concept of the "family monarchy".

Margaret Thatcher

She is described as a revolutionary figure who revitalized Britain's economy.

Princess Diana

The Princess of Wales patronised charities and organisations working with the sick, the homeless, youth, drug addicts and the elderly

In the last year of her life Diana was the most active supporter of the International Campaign to Ban Landmines.

Elizabeth II

Her work for peace all over the world has been highly appreciated.

Buckingham palace

Having read much I have come to the conclusion that the British women politicians have much in common.

• All of them loved and love their country and people.
• Their main purpose was and is to glorify their country.
• They were and are devoted to their deal.
