Цель урока: обобщить и систематизировать знания учащихся по теме "You are what you eat" .

Задачи урока:

Образовательные: развитие навыков говорения, аудирования, чтения, письма по теме "Food and health"; отработка произносительных навыков.

Развивающие: развитие мотивации к изучению иностранного языка, навыка языковой догадки, интеллекта, памяти, совершенствование внимания.

Воспитательные: cоздание условий для формирования ясных представлений школьника о здоровом питание; воспитание умений работать в парах, группах, самостоятельно.

Ход урока

I. Организационный момент.

Учитель: Good morning, dear girls and boys!

Учащиеся: (все вместе) Good morning, Good morning, Good morning to you, Good morning, Good morning, We are very glad to see you!

Учитель: I am glad to see you, too! Sit down, please. How are you?

Учащиеся: We are fine, thank you. And how are you?

Учитель: I’m OK too. Who is on duty today? Who is absent today? What date is it today? What day of the week is it today? What season is it now?

II. Сообщение цели урока.

Учитель: Please, repeat after speaker

Учитель:

- Today we shall have a lesson according to our topic “Food and health” and we shall speak about tasty, healthy and useless food.

- And now let’s start our work.

- Now, remember the words according to our topic.

Using the description find fruit and vegetables suitable for this description

Description

Fruit \ Vegetables

This fruit contains vitamins A and C. Everyone likes this fruit. It’s good for health.

Apple

This fruit makes cakes and puddings delicious. This fruit contains vitamins B and C.

Banana

This vegetable is white and has a bed smell. People lay in salad.

Garlic

People cry when they peel this vegetable.

Onion

This vegetable is green and white. Most people don’t like eat it.

Leek

This vegetable is red or green and hot.

Pepper

This vegetable is the queen of meals. Housewives use it when they cook.

Tomato

People should peel this vegetable before cooking. People like chips very much.

Potato

This fruit is 92 percent water. It gets on well with cheese.

Watermelon

People make wine using juice of this fruit.

Grapes

This fruit is very sweet and has got a nice smell. People make jam by using it.

Strawberry

This fruit is red or yellow. It is very sweet.

V. Развитие навыков устной речи по теме «Food and health».

Учитель:

-Dear boys and girls, answer my questions (фронтальный опрос класса):

-Do you like milk? Do you like ice-cream? Etc. Which is your favorite food? Please write in your copy-books two colons my food which you like and food which you dislike

-Now, look at the screen. There are a lot of pictures on the screen. These words are well-known for you. Let`s what is healthy and unhealthy food

-Open your exercise-books, please Ex 1 p 86 Let`s categorise the foods/drinks in Andy and

Bill’s shopping lists under the headings. Which of these foods are high in fat or sugar?


  • You have a little piece of paper on your desk, please find it and answer the questions

VII. Совершенствование навыков чтения вслух.

Учитель:

- Now, look at the screen and let`s think together and say

What products…

- keep you healthy?

- …give you energy

- …help you to grow and make you strong?

- …are empty foods?

So from these tables we can learn that

fruit and vegetables – keep your healthy

bread and sugar – give you energy,

butter and meat - help you to grow and make you strong,

sweets and chips – empty foods.

-Read the statements on the screen and say true or false.

*All foods are good for you.

*Vitamins and minerals help you to keep healthy.

*Fruit and vegetables are full of sugar and fat.

*Sweets, chips and coke keep you healthy.

*You should eat a variety of foods to stay healthy and grow big and strong.

-Compare the table and your list of six favorite things.

-Answer my questions:

1) Is your favorite food healthy?

2) Were you right?

3) Was your partner right?

-Say what kind of food we should / shouldn't eat a lot.

VIII. Творческое задание. Работа в группах.

-And now I have a special task for you. You need to make and draw healthy menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Work in groups.

VII. Рефлексия.

Учитель:

- Now, do you know what food is healthy and unhealthy for you?

X. Подведение итогов урока.

Учитель:

- Dear children! You work hard today: You spoke English, wrote, read and did different tasks and you have good results!
