DEMONSTRATION

Teacher shows images of different body parts and asks What’s this? [This is a leg]

What are these? [These are eyes]

Matching the pictures and the words.

Learners match the pictures and the words in each group.

Playing the game “What is missing?”

Learners look at the picture for a minute and tell the teacher about what part of the head is missing.

Focusing on the form has to talk about body parts. Teacher shows a picture of an animal, drills sentences describing the animal with learners.

Teacher models This is a cow. It has 4 legs and two eyes.

Try one more as an example from one more able person. Then put learners in pairs and make them describe animals they have in the pictures.

Listening to instructions for making a monster

Learners draw and name their monster and

introduce to class

e.g. It is green. It has seven eyes and а big mouth.

Distribute paper sheets and instruct learners to use coloured pencils. They will have to listen and draw a picture of an unusual animal.

2. It has 3 blue eyes and 4 pink ears.

3. It has a yellow body.

4. It has 3 green legs and 5 orange arms.
