Biography

• Vincent Van Gogh (1853-1890), Dutch painter. He was born on March 30, 1853 in the remote village of Grot- Zundert in the family of a pastor. B 1869-1876 He served as a commission agent for an art trading firm in The Hague. In 1878-1879 he was a preacher in Borinage (Belgium), where he learned the hard life of miners; the protection of their interests led Van Gogh to conflict with the church authorities.

• Vincent Van Gogh was born on March 30, 1853 in the village of Grote Zundert in the Netherlands. His parents were Pastor Theodor Van Gogh and Anna Cornelia Carbentus. Besides Vincent, there were five other children in the family. And only one of the brothers, Theo, tried to help Vincent in everything, tried to ease his difficult fate.

• At home, Vincent was very naughty, showed some oddities in his behavior, and his parents often punished him for disobedience. In society, he behaved quietly, seriously and often thought about something. He was not particularly friends with anyone and did not take part in children's games. According to the villagers, Vincent was distinguished by modesty, friendliness, compassion. He went to school like everyone else, at the age of seven, but a year later he had to be taken away from there and continue his studies at home. In 1864, his parents sent him to a boarding school in the city of Zevenbergen.

Death

• Vincent Van Gogh died on July 29, 1890 at 1:30 a.m. The famous artist was buried in the town of Mary the next day. A lot of his friends came to spend Vincent on his last journey. His latest works were hung on the walls of the artist's room.
