Plans for the weekend

It’s Friday afternoon and all the workers at the shoe factory are thinking about their plans for the weekend. Doris is fond of gardening and she is going to plant flowers in her yard. Michael is going to paint his house. He enjoys doing everything in his house himself. He has already done some shopping and bought paints and brushes. Tom and Jane want to relax after a hard week, so they are going to the beach. They are both fond of swimming and sunbathing. Peter is going to play baseball with his friends. He is a member of the local baseball team and they are having a competition with a college team on Sunday. Rita’s hobby is tourism and she is planning to go camping in the mountains. It’s going to be exciting she says. Karen prefers to go out with her family in her free time, so they are going to have a picnic in the countryside.

Unfortunately, the workers at the shoe factory are going to be upset. According to the radio, it’s going to rain heavily all weekend!
