The problem of pollution is very serious in my area now. There are a lot of plants, that dump their waste into rivers and lakes and make their water impossible to drink or swim in. Also, they pollute the air in my area. Moreover, the number of cars is increasing nowadays, and they make the problem more serious. In my opinion, the problem is getting worse. As a result, a lot of people have health problems. If I were a politician, I would make factories and plants use modern filters. All in all, the problem of pollution is really important.

Speaker 1: I’m quite good with money. I get 6 pounds a week pocket money. I do a part-time job, too. On Saturdays I help my aunt in her café and I earn 30 pounds. I’m careful and save about 50 pounds a month and I put it in my bank account. I don`t spend a lot. I don’t go out very often and I don’t use my mobile a lot. I spend money on cosmetics but not a lot on clothes. I enjoy shopping at street markets because I can get cheap clothes there.

Speaker 2: Yeah, I’m very good with money. I get 7 pounds a week pocket money and I do part-time jobs sometimes. I spend my money on my mobile-phone. I use it a lot, you know. I enjoy shopping at discount shops, because you can get things cheap. I buy and sell things on eBay too with my parents’ help. You can make quite a lot of money if you are clever. And I am! I’ve got a bank account but I’m not telling you how much I’ve got in it.

Speaker 3: Mmm, I’m not very good with money. I get 6 pounds a week pocket money. For that, I do different jobs about the house. You know, take the rubbish out, and things like that. I don’t spend a lot of money on clothes, but I love going out with my friends. The next day I feel bad because I’ve spent a lot. I don’t save money and I never have anything in my bank account. I don’t know where it all goes. I get nervous when I think about money.
