My name is … and I’m fifteen years old. The topic I’m going to speak about is “Presents”. Who doesn’t like presents? In my opinion, everybody does like them. All my friends do, my parents and I do, my two younger sisters do, even my parrot Ricky likes when I buy small toys for him.

Any kind of present is equally dear to me, especially the one which is long-awaited. Last year, as a birthday present I was given a nice mug with the picture of my favourite music band. It was a good present for me. At the same time I realized that it’s not about presents at all, it’s about attention which I got from people who are important for me. Sometimes it doesn’t matter what we get for birthday or the New Year or any other occasion. The most important thing is to know that people who give us presents think and care about us. I even like handmade presents. It is really pleasant to get something from a friend done by him or herself.

In conclusion, I’d like to say that the most important thing in the present is attention, because the gift chosen with love and sincere attitude will make your friend’s day special.
