The day of unity of people of Kazakhstan

The 1^st of May is a wonderful spring day in our motherland - the Republic of Kazakhstan. It is celebrating a very important holiday - The day of unity of people of Kazakhstan. On this day, we are reminded of the unity and friendship of all the peoples that inhabit Kazakhstan.

Historically, our country has many nationalities who have different cultures. The Kazakhs, the titular nation, is the second largest in the country. The first place belongs to Russian, they mostly live in the North Kazakhstan.

In our country also many Uzbeks, Uighurs, Tatars and Germans. Kazakhstan has a very rich culture – it is a home for about a hundred and fifty nations.

On unity day we remember that the prosperity, peace and order in our country depends on all people, all cultures, even the smallest. People tend to understand each other, accept each other openly, kindly, interested in national peculiarities of each other.

The friendship between the people and their identity is the key to the unity of the country, specially for such a unique one as our Kazakhstan.
