Разработка урока английского языка в 10 классе по теме "What is Hot with the Young Generation?" учителя английского языка Ильиной Ольги Анатольевны

Данный урок проводится на завершающем этапе изучения темы " What is Hot with the Young Generation?" в 10 классе по учебнику английский язык под редакцией В.П. Кузовлева и объединяет в себе такие темы как: “How Do teens Express Their Individuality?, “What Can Your Parents Tell You About Their Youth?”, “Are All the Young Bad?” и имеет форму внеклассного занятия.

1. Учебные цели урока:

• активизация лексических навыков по теме;
• развитие умений суммировать знания и высказаться по проблеме последовательно, грамматически правильно оформив излагаемую информацию;
• развитие памяти и логического мышления;
• вовлечение учащихся в творческую деятельность.

2. Воспитательные цели урока:

• приобретение знаний о различных молодежных организациях, их целях;
• воспитание толерантности и уважения к выбору субкультуры;
• приобщение к общечеловеческим ценностям.

На уроке решаются следующие задачи:

- Актуализация изученного материала,

- Формирование лексических навыков говорения.

Урок проводится в форме интервью на природе.

Знакомство с реалиями и понятиями молодежных субкультур.

Развивающий аспект:

Развитие оперативной памяти; развитие способности к сравнению и обобщению.

Формирование уважительного отношения к представителям различных групп.

Оборудование:

Видеокамера для съемки, баян, аудиоплеер.

Журналист (teacher), полицейский (Никита) выходят из леса.

Тeacher: There is a group of young people in the forest.

Никита: Who are they and what are they doing there?

Тeacher: We should find it out.

У костра в лесу группа молодых людей. Подходят к ним.

Тeacher: Good day. I’m a journalist of BBC.

Никита: I’m captain Trimaskin. Who are you and what are you doing here?

Лена: We are representatives of youth organizations and now we have an annual festival.

Тeacher: What is the aim of your festival?

Лена: Every year environmentalists, scouts, tolkienists gather in the forest and speak about their subculture, their values, peculiarities and they discuss problems of young people.

Никита: I see.

Тeacher: Will you introduce yourself?

Вика: We are a group of environmentalists.

Никита: What are you fond of? What are your functions?

Вика: Let me explain:You probably take pretty good care of the place you live in: you clean it, you keep it warm, you tidy the garden, you're nice to your neighbors and help them when you can—generally speaking, you look after your home and its environment because your home looks after you. Our planet, Earth, is just as much our home, but we don't look after it anything like as well. We use its resources, we pollute it with trash, we plunder from our neighbors (other animals and plants) without a care, and we give little or no thought to what things will be like in the future, never mind what shape things will be in for our children.

Яна: Environmentalism is a different way of thinking. Our values to help nature, to change the world for the best. We do not protest against our parents but we protest against organisations that pollute nature.

Тeacher: Oh, it’s a very good idea of helping nature, of taking care of it. Nowadays young people spend more time playing computer games, they communicate through the Internet, don’t read books, they don’t have any hobby. Who is this girl with head- phones? Are you a raver?

Кристина: No, I am not. I don’t like to be organized. I only listen to my favourite singer. Besides, I’m fond of music. That’s why I study at musical school.

Никита: What is your vafourite singer?

Кристина: Celine Dion.

Тeacher: Will you sing something for us?

Кристина: Ok. (исполняет песню)

Тeacher: Thank you very much. And what about you? You have a bayan.

Лев: Yes, I also study at musical school and I can play for you.

Никита: You are welcome!

(Лев играет на баяне)

Видят людей, изображающих некую сцену, подходят к ним.

Тeacher: What are you doing?

Даша: We are Tolkienists.

Никита: Who are tolkienists? What is your aim?

Саша: Let’s me explain you: Tolkien fandom is an international, informal community of fans of the works of J. R. R. Tolkien, especially of the Middle-earth legendarium which includes The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings, and The Silmarillion.

Тeacher: Now, I see, that young people are fond of reading books, listening to music. Now we’d like to invite you to have a rest and drink tea.

Лена: It is very tasty, who’s prepared it?

Наташа: I. As for me I’m fond of cooking. I like to help my mother to prepare food for our family and our guests.

Лена: Look, here is a man in the forest! He is coming to us.

Артем: Hello, who are you, and what are you doing here?

Лена: We are a group of teenagers, who are gathered to speak about our hobbies and about life of young people. As for you, you are fond of skiing, aren’t you?

Артем: Yes, you are right. Tomorrow I’m going to take part in competition.

Тeacher: We wish you to win.

Артем: Thank you very much.

Тeacher: I should say, that nowadays young people are more lucky than our generation. Because we didn’t take part in sport competitions, we didn’t travel, we didn’t live in a camp. Now you have a lot of opportunities to express yourself.

Лена: Yes, you are right. My mother told me, that when they were teenagers they worked a lot on fields, they grew potatoes for school, they had picnics with guitar. I have an album of my mother’s photos to tell you about life of young people of 80^th.

Тeacher: Thank you for the story. It’s time to go now, but I’d like to sing a song of many generations.

(Звучит песня)

Тeacher: So, we’ve met a group of young people, who are the students of a simple village school. Some of them are representatives of youth organizations, some of them don’t like to be organized, but they express their individuality by listening different kinds of music, playing musical instruments, reading books. They can speak about their parents youth, because they try to follow their family traditions and they don’t show the rebellion against the society. I hope, they will be good children for their parents and the will be good citizens for our country.
