«Anime Subculture»
History
An anime guy is a person who is fond of anime (Japanese animation).
This subculture appeared at the end of the 1980s when television channels began broadcasting the popular series “Sailormoon”.
Every year the popularity of Japanese cartoons grew, and now you can easily buy not only disks with anime, but even order costumes and wigs of some characters.
What kind of subculture is it?
A variety of people can refer themselves to the anime subculture.
Some just love anime, others participate in thematic festivals and cosplays (costume games where participants dress up as their favorite characters and play their roles), someone draws manga (Japanese comics) himself, some learn Japanese and make subtitles for new anime.
Convinced anime people are also called "otaku" or "tru-otaku".
Anime people, unlike representatives of many other subcultures, do not have a specific style, but often use words from the Japanese language. Usually they listen to rock music and K-pop is rather popular among girls.

Anime can attract people, like any cartoons that are close and understandable to a person from childhood. It is anime that can be interesting for its problematic: selfdevelopment through world outlook and striving for a goal are classic anime themes that resonate with people of any age.
