Students are introduced with annotating the text Students work in pairs and read different resources of 2 types of nonfiction (biography and autobiography) and annotate them. Differentiation: students read different texts according to individual learning needs and abilities of students. Appendix 2 and 5 – for less able students as it has word definitions Appendix 4 and 3 – for more able students Students work in pairs and discuss the following questions: What text features are used in these texts? How do these features help the readers? What type of images did you find in this text? What can you learn from each of these images? |
