Let me tell you about Christmas

Hello, I'm Santa Claus. I live in the North Pole. It's very cold and snowy here. I've got a sled and nine reindeer. They can run very fast.

I've got the best friend. His name is Rudolph. He is a reindeer, too. He has got a red nose. At Christmas I bring presents to boys and girls. Elves help me to choose presents for good kids. Elves are funny. They like to play with red-and- white candy canes.

On Christmas Eve I put presents into Christmas stockings. Children like Christmas. They make snowmen and decorate their houses with holly.

They also decorate their Christmas trees with bells and balls. Boys and girls like to sing Christmas carols and dance at Christmas.They also write Christmas cards to their friends.

Christmas is a family holiday. The favourite Christmas food is turkey with vegetables and meat pies. Mothers cook puddings and gingerbread biscuits for tea.
